 They fit her great, look nice, and have the wrist tether, all positives. But she is still complaining her hands are cold, no matter the weather. Try Scott, they're much warmer, I speak from experience!

Not warm enough

I really wanted warm ski mittens. I purchased 3 child size sets for my kids and 2 leather adult sets. One set for my daughter the thumb seams are coming apart and the grip plastic part is shredded on the palm of the both mittens. For the price I thought I would be able to get a few years out of these

 What's up everybody this is Josh and today we are testing Hestra gloves from Chopwood Mercantile. So for all of you who don't know Hestra, they're actually based in Sweden, Dessahanska Abra. They've got locations around the world, very cool glove brand. It's winter here in Crested Butte obviously, so it's a good time to check out these gloves

 It's polyester which is awesome if your hands are sweating. It's still going to retain some of the warmth and heat. If you had like a down liner and you get it wet that's not going to help you stay warm at all. So synthetic is awesome

 And the ones I have here are the Sezone three-fingered. Basically they've got a sweet wrist strap to help tighten up, keep out the powder. They also have a little zip pocket on the fronts which are awesome for throwing your day pass in there or you could throw a heat packet which is definitely crucial for the cold days. We like the three-fingered lobster claw stuff just because you know it's going to keep it warmer than your traditional gloves but you still get a little dexterity with your front fingers, your index finger and your thumb

 This one right here again they're actually in really good shape. I don't know what you have that's actually eight years old in your closet or in your wardrobe or anywhere but your gloves will last that long when you buy Hestras. So the Velcro still works good in terms of the cinching. If anything they're even more supple and more dexterous for your hands the more you break them in but it maintains good waterproofing and good warmth

 Why I love these gloves? Who loves these gloves? Everybody loves these gloves. Basically the backs

 are waterproof, breathable and windproof. So really crucial on days that are not like today,

 beautiful. But when it's definitely windy out there, when it's rough, you got different ski

 conditions going on. It's a four-layer Sezone construction for these gloves. The palms are

 goat leather so nice, soft and malleable. It is pretty nice out here today. It's about 20 degrees,

 totally fine for these but we actually had them out and Dylan was testing them yesterday

 in like single digit five degree temperatures and they performed flawlessly so keeping his hands

 warm. That's what we want to hear. Sarah was out testing them yesterday on the slopes and she had

 the basically the women's version of this Alpine Pro three finger. Again super warm. Hers are

 actually a little bit more insulated and again perfect for those single digit cold weather ski

 days where it feels like you know nothing is going to stay warm out there so you want to have good
