My brother spotted a Herman Miller sayl that was destined for the dumpster at the hospital he worked at. I wiped it down and there was nothing wrong with it, not even stains on the seat cushion. Great chairs, they hold up really well.

After months of looking, finally got my Herman Miller Mirra used for $225

The Sayl chair looks cool and is comfortable. However, after one year of light use, one of the arm pads is tearing in the top front. The arm pad is a semi rigid foam with a hard flat support stucture underneath. The problem is the foam pad extends out about an inch past the underlying rigid support

 So over time as the pad bends down it begins to tear  It appears the foam pad is glued on the support so it is not easily replaceable (like on the more expensive Aeron chair). The arm pad is a poor design. Now my chair with be sporting some sweet duct tape on the armpad. Classy

Comfortable but Not Top Quality

I got this chair mostly for the design and for the quality that herman miller is known for. I didn't want to buy a cheaper chair that would break in a year or two.  As far as the materials are concerned, the fabric mesh cushion is nice an firm. Good back support

Absolutely average chair, which should be priced at $79-100. Nothing negative to say about it, but there is nothing good either. Many chairs bought elsewhere would be much more comfortable at half price. Cannot say anything about reliability, as I just purchased it

Overall this is a very comfortable chair, especially over a long period of time, like four hours, five hours on, it's a very comfortable chair, it has a very good support, that's a chair that supports your weight really well, it has a really good back support, it has tons of adjustability, and at $500 to $700 price point, I think it's a very good chair, it's definitely not cheap, but it is Herman Miller, and you know the quality is going to be good, and that is backed up by their 12 year warranty, so you should feel confident that at least your $600 or $700 chair is going to last at least 12 years

 Hey, what's going on everyone, it's your strategy here.

 So I am at my ultimate state quarantine here in Thailand at the Lancaster Hotel Bangkok.

 And this is my day 15 or 14, so I got two more days to go.

 And what else would I do except for reviewing this chair.

 So this is the Herman Miller sale, I think that's how you call it.

 And it obviously came with the room, I don't own it, I didn't buy it, but I think it's

 It's actually the same brand, which is Herman Miller, the same brand as the chair I have

 at home, which is the M-Body, which I love, I've been using that for a few months and

 This sale is actually the cheapest, I think, of the Herman Miller product line.

 It starts at around 545 US dollars and goes up from there.

 This particular one, as you'll see in the video, has some of the upgraded adjustability.

 And this one is priced at 675 US dollars.

 Well, since I'm in my quarantine, I can't really go out, so I've been spending a lot

 of time in this room for the past 14-15 days.

 And I spend a lot of time sitting on this chair.

 I've been spending a lot of time in my room, and particularly in this chair, so 300 and

 And I must say, it's actually a very good chair.

 This one has the upgraded armrest adjustability, the height adjustable armrest, which you just

 press on this button, pull it up, and then you can adjust the armrest, the height of

 So this is really nice, so you can adjust it as high as you want, or as low as you want.

 We want to put this chair in under the table so it will go in nicely.

 If however it doesn't adjust, you can't adjust the width of the armrest, so it's fixed here,

 you can move them closer to you or further apart, unlike the M-body that you can.

 The other upgraded feature is the adjustable seat depth.

 So you can, I think, pull on this button, and you can see that over here, pull it, and
