 I literally had a 7 year old girl in my class today with this exact same snowboard and she was struggling hard core until I switched her out onto one of our Burton rental boards and she was immediately doing so much better. And this wasn't an isolated incident, my fellow instructors and I regularly switch kids off of Head gear in our lessons and tell parents at the end of the day to get a different snowboard for their child. They're seriously that bad.

I've been a children's snowboard instructor for the past 5 years and I can say without a doubt that Head makes the absolute worst children's snowboard gear on the market. These boards are too wide which means kids can't tilt them properly to get speed control on their edges, and they're too stiff with too narrow of a stance which means kids can't twist or flex the board to get any kind of steering out of it. 2019 K2 Indy Snowboard Bindings - Preview - TheHouse.com

 Hello, I'm Atka from TheHouse.com and I'm here with John Schmuck from K2 Snowboarding.

 He kind of walks us through the 2000 line for K2 and we're finally at K2 Snowboarding

 Lots of tool-less adjustment, really simple, not a lot of bells and whistles.

 What can riders come to know about the Indy moving into next season?

 Well, on the Indy somebody upgrades, you know, we have the perfect fit toe strap on it up

 in the front, which is totally adjustable as far as fitting any type of boot out there.

 You can move the strap forward or back on it too.

 So whatever boot that you have, this toe strap will fit that.

 Our instep strap that we have has a ratchet on this side and has an adjustable piece on

 So you can adjust that up so you're going to get the most comfort out of that strap.

 Nice and comfy, soft, nice flexible strap that we have on it.

 We have a full footbed pad in the binding itself with the ramp angle.

 You can adjust the ramp angle on it and it has a three degree bevel built into it or

 So it's going to give you more of that natural stance.

 So you got that built into it with the adjustable toe ramp on it, which is very nice, nice fiber

 And then of course, this is our new high back on here.

 So it's super lightweight, but it still has a lot of performance built into it.

 So you're going to get a lot of great, great reaction and stability with it.

 And then of course, all the straps here are tool-less.

 So you can just, this is how they just come off.

 Once you put it onto a binding, onto a board, it's not going to circle around.

 So you're not going to lose these straps or anything like that.

 It's going to stay on there because they're totally tool-less on there.

 This is our most popular binding we sell.

 I love these and I think it's because of the price and all the features that are built

 You know, one of my favorite things about the Indy is actually the high back end and

 it seems to be just a little bit wider, but it's also really flat.

 So you have a lot of lateral and medial style movements.

 So if you're a freestyle rider, it's an awesome binding you can jump on at a lower price point
