 So we do get this SLR 9 binding as well, nice, safe, easy, basic binding, it's going to hold up to some pretty rugged skiing for sure if that's the case, there's not much more need for a 9-din binding at a ski of this level, grip-watt compatible as well and in this 158 we're looking at a 10.9 meter turn radius so it does like to make those clean round turns.  These are things borrowed from the higher end skis in the Joy lineup and then a nice vertical sidewall underfoot. It does taper to a cap in the tips as well as the tails and those are the points where the rocker starts to kick in, so again we are seeing that higher end mentality kind of filter into this Pure Joy ski, really allowing those emerging skiers to feel the benefits of the features involved in higher end skis while still keeping the value really good. So as I said that sidewall ends where the rocker begins and that allows for easier entry and exit into the turns, really great thing to have especially towards the end of the day when the snow starts to kind of degrade a little bit but that rocker starts right where that cap ends and that just gives you a lot more ease of initiation into the turn here and then a more friendly release at the end. So this tail is not going to grab on and really kind of yank you into the end of the turn

 So it's a really nice blend of width underfoot that allows skiers to just really gain that confidence, keep that momentum going forward, being able to link those turns on groomed terrain I think is super important and just having that ability built into the ski just makes it easier for the skiers to maximize their time out there. We also get a graphene layer in here as well so a nice strip of graphene running from tip to tail and graphene is super light and very strong so that's giving that upscale feel to the skier as well and allowing those intermediates that are even progressing beyond where they are just a little bit more of a stiffness and a more responsive nature to the ski without adding weight so it's not like you are dealing with a full metal laminate here or anything like that, it's a very light and stiff layer of graphene that's giving you good feedback without weighing you down.  I'm here today to talk to you about the Head Pure Joy, a great ski for women in the beginner

 to intermediate range, even accommodating some progressing intermediates.

 Definitely has a little bit of a step up in terms of performance versus the Easy Joy, making

 this a little bit bigger, better of a value, you're getting better performance, you're

 still not leaving that beginner, that first pair of skis, certainly higher than a rental

 This Pure Joy definitely strikes a larger range of skiers and is just a great value

 and has some pretty good performance features that have been filtered down from the higher

 end skis in the Joy series, as well as some of the other skis in Head's lineup that really

 kind of give this an upscale feeling while keeping the value to an absolute maximum.

 It's a super good deal for these skis, great system binding involved in this as well.

 We are still built with a synthetic core for this level of ski, I think that works really

 well because it provides a predictable flex from tip to tail, also is just more durable

 over time, chances are you're going to be using these skis for a number of years and

 that synthetic core doesn't lose a lot of performance over that time, stays very consistent

 from tip to tail, from first part of the day to the end and then from year to year as well.

 So great high-end synthetic core in this ski and then we are seeing more of a sidewall

 construction in this, so we do have that kind of chamfered edge coming down here.
