to pick out skis for them but personally as a female skier having a bunch of men pick out and decide on skis that they never personally have skied, never will ski, and even if they did would have a completely different experience on due to average differences in body size/weight/strength doesn't do us any benefit. I think a lot of women become discouraged from the sport and don't progress as they should from bad experiences and improper equipment. For beginner/early intermediate skiers, some women's skis I recommend looking into are the Black Pearl 82 (it's heavily recommended and a best seller for a reason), the Volkl Flair 76, Blizzard Phoenix 7.2, the Head Absolut Joy

So in terms of that width, you know, we're not quite at that 80 millimeter mark, but the upper 70s is a great place to be if you're spending most or all of your time on groomed terrain and more, you know, more smooth slopes.  This ski's been around for a couple years.

 Strong ski for an intermediate, even lower intermediate, advancing beginner, you know,

 advancing intermediate, really starting at that intermediate range and going out.

 We've just seen a lot of really happy skiers on this absolute joy, and we're all about

 They use a composite wood core in this ski, as well as graphene to make it stiffer.

 Graphene's very light and very stiff, so when added to that composite wood core, it does

 give this ski a little bit of a boost of power for sure.

 But really they're keeping things pretty darn light.

 They have, I would call it more of a half cap sidewall construction.

 So starting with the top of the ski, they are tapering it down, that cap down, and then

 the sidewall ends, you know, closer to the ends of the skis, probably almost in line

 with the rocker, where the rocker profile starts.

 So that gives you the blend of, you know, a light quick cap construction with the edge

 grip and stability of a vertical sidewall.

 So it's a nice blend of performances in this ski for sure.

 It is 79 millimeters underfoot, and this 158 generates a 12.2 meter turn radius.

 So in terms of that width, you know, we're not quite at that 80 millimeter mark, but

 You know, if you're learning to perfect the art of the carve turn, having something like

 make that clean round arc, leaving super, you know, super round arcs in your wake.

 You know, we just see a lot of that going on up there at the mountain behind these,

 and it's just a really nice thing for skiers to learn how to carve a turn on.

 So we have this profile now, very, very positive camber underfoot with kind of that composite

 They have to build in energy to the ski, and they do that through this carb, through this

 We're not going to see a whole lot of tip rocker.

 It is just about to where that sidewall ends, and it is very, very low, you know, pretty

 minimal splay, pretty low tip profile here.

 No surprises there, you know, very confidence-inspiring ski.

 Minimal splay, enough though that it doesn't lock you into the turn like a more high-performance
