Today was our first hanging as our summer starts today and we have discovered the worn areas. We do not wear shoes in the hammocks we use and are disappointed by this discovery.

I don't know if I'd share this for more than a quick nap with another person as it's large relative to other Brazilian Hammocks; but hammock sleeping for 8 hours with another occupant would just not be practical in the long term. That being said, you want a large hammock for stretching out at an angle, sleeping on your side and just general comfort. You will lay flat when shifting to the correct 20 degree offset from the center line while sleeping in this hammock. (google sleeping in a Brazilian Hammock if you aren't familiar with the method) You can also comfortably sleep on your side in this

just like picture. Although screws need continuous tightening may be coz of my weight. the little flaw it is not for 2 people.

I know the rubber/plastic material is probably much heavier than most would use, but I most often find myself camping out of a car or canoe, where weight isnt as much of an issue. Other than weight and the "non-compact nature" I cant see any downsides, as it is basically pure insulation. I figured I'd seek some input from y'all about it, since I'm rather new to actually sleeping in hammocks. All feedback/input appreciated!

It’s not awful, it’s just way over priced and over hyped for what you get. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

The biggest thing drawing me towards the hennessy is the fact that it’s a complete package with tarp for the same price as the others. I’ve just heard that it might not be as comfortable but compared to my ENO it would be way more comfortable! If I got one of the other two, i’d have to consider a proper tarp for it which would add to the cost. Ideally I don’t want to go higher than 250$!
