Hamilton Beach 6-slice 31411 vs Hamilton Beach Easy Reach

As far as it functioning as an oven, it's great. It appears to heat things much more evenly/thoroughly than our last one.

So I saw this HB with the lift away door and decided to try it. This is a great toaster oven, heats up great, cooks pretty quick and the door stays clean with the lift away design. Don't usually do reviews but this oven warranted it , recommend this one!

And the outside is easy to clean. The parts and features are to my liking. I like having a crumb tray to catch crumbs of course but also any small spills or oozing from cooked food. The all purpose broiler pan is a must

I can fit a 6 cup muffin pan in the oven, and have since started a diet which portions out many meals by cooking single servings in muffin cups. Yes other people have complained about the timer making a ticking bomb noise while it is cooking, but my old one did that too so it doesn't bother me. However this unit also has an "on" spot you can choose, so you could turn it to that and use your own timer without the ticking noise. I personally would rather use the ticking timer because it will shut off the oven when the timer goes off

The controls for oven temp or time for toasting is simple and quick for toasting buns or muffins or bread. Very pleased. The minor scrape on the outside reduced the price, but in no way detracted from the look or use. I highly recommend this product

Attractive and functional, this 6 slice toaster oven is a welcome addition to my kitchen. The stainless exterior blends in perfectly with my stainless appliances. The oven interior is roomy, and has 3 adjustable rack positions. A baking pan and easy to understand user manual is included

I guess you get what you pay for and next time I will pay more. I have not had a toaster oven in years and have been using a pop up toaster. But this unit is almost the same as the one I used twenty years ago. That's not a complement

For a modest price point toaster oven this is a pretty good one. The roll top makes it easier to use than most because there is better access to the food and less chance of accidentally touching a hot surface. Also the top is removable which makes cleaning easier. Add to that the removable rack and the large crumb tray and you have a toaster oven that can be kept clean with very little effort

I gave this toaster oven five stars because it is very good for the price. However, if you are willing to spend an additional $50 - $100, you can purchase a higher quality, better designed product. --- I am mostlyhappy with this Hamilton Beach 31411. But I would vastly prefer the absence of the bulging back, designed to accommodate a 12" pizza (which I could live without)

There are two levels inside the oven that the tray can be set at, one for cooking and one for broiling, but I haven't found a need to switch the rack. If you're looking for an oven for every day use to prepare your meals, you may want to look elsewhere and spend a little extra money for a better model. You get what you pay for!
