Sometimes less is more, you know? We still like them very much. We keep buying them. Coffee is a passion for us, this is a really good coffee maker and this particular model also looks very sleek. It really is beautiful—they’ve done a great job with the new design

It is constructed well and does not appear flimsy. So far, this appears to be a winner. I will update this review as needed.

I’ve had this machine for several months, now. There are some pros and cons. Pros: Overall I really liked how easy this machine was to use. I’m a barista and I know using an electric coffee maker might make me look like a dweeb, but I’m up at 4am and need the convenience and caffeine ASAP! This 100% delivers in that regard

Nice and compact. Only thing I don’t care for is it is really slow at brewing the coffee. If you don’t mind a little wait this is a great coffee maker.

But it's there if you need it! Some not so likable things: The coffee maker takes a while to brew a pot! By a while, I mean 10-15 minutes. While this may not seem like a long time, most brewing methods should not have the water in contact with the grounds for more than 6 minutes max. Although the brew time for this machine doesn't seem to affect taste too much. Most coffee comes out slightly more bitter than when I brew with my Chemex, but it is still pretty tasty

The front offers easy access but is slower to fill while the back is wide open and I can dump the water in. The next improvement is the swing out basket. The older model required me to lift the entire top up and pull the basket out but with this one, I just swing out the basket, grab the used coffee filter, toss it in the trash and easily replace it with a new one.
