Size

Cooks Super Fast

I was really excited to try this new fryer. It is so quiet compared to my older one. It also cooks stuff much faster then the other one. The only issue I had was the size, it is rather small for a family of 3, but I just used my old air fryer with it when I am cooking a lot at once

Bought this for my mother for Xmas. It says it’s to cook a meal for 2 but it’s very small so you’d be lucky to cook for 1 person.

Nonstick Surface

Great unit..one flaw!

They just need a better non-stick coating on these. Great Air fryer. It works well and its easy to use. I use the grill function and the chicken thighs come out exactly as if they came off the grill

LOVE this thing!!!

Easy to clean, and once you get the hang of it EVERYTHING tastes better! No grease, crispy, and delicious every time now. Well worth the $. Just wish I knew they have a turquoise/mint (favorite color) one now. Oh well…

Cooking Time

Works Great! Surprisingly Quiet

Also the cook time seems somewhat subjective, and takes some practice depending on your quantities. Finally it doesn't cook large batches as evenly as I would like, but I'm still experimenting. I'm learning you have to flip or shake most food once or twice during cooking, and then it turns out better. I think this is a pretty common issue for most air fryers

I don't think it's really an air fryer

I struggle with trying to get it to crisp anything up. The temperatures are pre-set, which I was aware of. What Air Fryer charts say take 20 minutes have taken up to 40 minutes to cook in this appliance. I've tried burgers, french fries, egg rolls, veggies, and countless other items that should cook in a relatively short time

Baking

AMAZINGLY HUGE (7 QT.) AND WONDERFUL AIR FRYER !!!

Recipe book is beautifully layed out and the recipes are very simple...I made two cheesecakes on the first use and the first one was not fully cooked but I made a time adjustment on the second and it came out beautifully! Enough said

Add cooking time!

At the sound of the ding, the chicken wings were definitely not done. They were not brown, they were not crisp. We gave them another 24 minutes at 390 degrees, and YUMMY! Next time, we will fiddle with the time to see if something less than 48 minutes (24x2) would be long enough. So, yes, it's great with two chicken wings; but not at the time the instructions call for

Not for everyone

Don't let them overcook. The wings weren't as tender as my in-the-oven go-to recipe, but they took half the time and they were very crispy. One quibble - the racks that come with this don't stack nicely. The first time I stored them inside the fryer, they came apart, and I had to use a cooking chopstick to untangle them from the electric coil on the top of the fryer

Poor controls and small basket

The temperature scale is difficult to use. The old 2qt unit was great, this one is disappointing. Too bad the knobs and scale fell off the old one.
