Size

Cooks Super Fast

I was really excited to try this new fryer. It is so quiet compared to my older one. It also cooks stuff much faster then the other one. The only issue I had was the size, it is rather small for a family of 3, but I just used my old air fryer with it when I am cooking a lot at once

It's huge, cooks large amounts of food but takes up a lot of counter space.

The only aspect that could be seen as a negative for some is the size, its huge and takes up a lot of counter space and its to large to move and store easily. However if you have the space or you need the extra cooking space for a larger family it's worth the counter space.

Nonstick Surface

Great unit..one flaw!

They just need a better non-stick coating on these. Great Air fryer. It works well and its easy to use. I use the grill function and the chicken thighs come out exactly as if they came off the grill

Nicest air fryer I’ve tested this year!

The only thing I didn’t like about this unit that I found in others is a nonstick coating on the inside oven for cleaning. I wish one of these companies would come up with a self cleaning option, because that’s probably my biggest bone of contention. These units are not the easiest to clean. You must clean them while they’re still a bit warm, yet not hot enough to burn you

Cooking Time

Works Great! Surprisingly Quiet

Also the cook time seems somewhat subjective, and takes some practice depending on your quantities. Finally it doesn't cook large batches as evenly as I would like, but I'm still experimenting. I'm learning you have to flip or shake most food once or twice during cooking, and then it turns out better. I think this is a pretty common issue for most air fryers

Nice oven, but the glass doors slam shut too easily, creating a safety issue!

It is easy to change both the time and the temperature. Bacon - I used the Baking Tray with the Bacon Tray on top of it. The instructions are unclear! The picture diagram shows placing the bacon pan and tray on the 3rd (from the bottom) rack, but the written text states the 4th (or top) rack. Whichever rack you select, make sure you check the bacon as it cooks and make sure you flip it midway through! Times will vary depending on the cut of your bacon and it's very easy to overcook it because it cooks quickly! Again, it is easy to change the time and temperature from the preset ones

Baking

AMAZINGLY HUGE (7 QT.) AND WONDERFUL AIR FRYER !!!

Recipe book is beautifully layed out and the recipes are very simple...I made two cheesecakes on the first use and the first one was not fully cooked but I made a time adjustment on the second and it came out beautifully! Enough said

Good size for 1-3 people, you'll need to turn your racks 1/2 way through

TOAST While this will fit 6 slices of my wider Orowheat bread, it toasts darker on the bottom than it does the top, and the top is what you can see and monitor while it's toasting, so heads up! The preset time for toast is set at 5 minutes and you can adjust the time/darkness level with the multi dial as described above. BAKING- This heats up fast no preheat needed, but you will have to turn the tray 1/2 way though whatever your baking. The insulated rear of the oven maintains the proper temps, while the non insulated doors will not, so un even baking will occur if you don't turn your rack or pan. This is similar with every small oven I've had with glass doors

Temperature

Not for everyone

Don't let them overcook. The wings weren't as tender as my in-the-oven go-to recipe, but they took half the time and they were very crispy. One quibble - the racks that come with this don't stack nicely. The first time I stored them inside the fryer, they came apart, and I had to use a cooking chopstick to untangle them from the electric coil on the top of the fryer

The double doors are single pane which is a big disappointment. Single pane doors do not hold in the heat as well as double pane glass doors. Air fryer? more like toaster oven. Yes it "air fries" but not well

Power Usage

UPON RECEIPT IT WOULD NOT POWER UP! Amazon replaced it. Now the 7 quart model GW23956 fails out of the box! 2 out of 3 delivered defective products! That’s a 67% PRODUCT FAILURE RATE over two different GoWise USA Air Fryers over a 1 1/2 year period! Draw your own conclusion before you buy GoWise USA Products. GoWise USA Products - made in CHINA!

After one false start, a pretty good unit

In the end, the chicken cooked up well with the preset program (although I did pop a breaker a few minutes from the end - this fryer pulls a lot of power and needs a dedicated circuit!). It made a splattered greasy mess of the inside of the fryer, but it cleaned up pretty easily on the sides and doors. There's not much you can do for the exposed heating element on top though. The rotisserie forks are about the weakest spot in the whole works, they are pretty flimsy and washing them in the dishwasher makes them rust
