Simple setup, easy to use, and can sit right on your counter and not take up much room. I love how this is so much healthier because it uses little to no oil. My kids favorite thing is how fast it completes everything. Our favorite items have preset controls so it starts with just a touch of a button

Cooks Super Fast

I was really excited to try this new fryer. It is so quiet compared to my older one. It also cooks stuff much faster then the other one. The only issue I had was the size, it is rather small for a family of 3, but I just used my old air fryer with it when I am cooking a lot at once

A hot mess of a small appliance

Took up a lot of space on the counter. I love my InstantPot, but this thing was used 3 times and returned. Even if the dial worked, I don’t think I could have justified keeping it.

Frying Basket

UPDATE: Dropping this appliance down to 2 stars from my original 5 star review below. I got this air fryer end of May, it's mid July and as of yesterday the non stick coating inside the basket is flaking off as you can see from the pics The basket is gently cleaned with mild dish soap and a soft nonabrasive sponge, everytime! I am so disappointed because I was loving this airfryer so much I was going to purchase a second one. Not anymore. Now I have to go through the trouble of contacting this company directly to see if I can get a replacement basket because there is no contact information here on Amazon

Wha!!! The!! Heck!!!!

Place it back again still says “open” clearly this machine is defective or just a POS! Call up Amazon and bam a new next day and when a label to return the old one. Thank you for that! Well on to the new one exactly like my previous one. Well can you guess what happened?!??!!!! The same damn thing!!!! What the Heck!!!! I mean come on who makes this up and makes this crap. Two machine doing the same thing a simple fix?! Well I think not

Nonstick Surface

Great unit..one flaw!

They just need a better non-stick coating on these. Great Air fryer. It works well and its easy to use. I use the grill function and the chicken thighs come out exactly as if they came off the grill

Good size, nice design, easy clean-up

The basket and cooking tray are easy to clean and the non-stick coating is working well - some said the the non-stick coating is coming off, I did not see this my unit either. I did note that the results are much better if you use olive oil cooking spray on the food before frying. This is especially noticeable on breaded food such as chicken fingers. I took one star off because it comes with a terse, abbreviated guide, or manual

Cooking Time

Works Great! Surprisingly Quiet

Also the cook time seems somewhat subjective, and takes some practice depending on your quantities. Finally it doesn't cook large batches as evenly as I would like, but I'm still experimenting. I'm learning you have to flip or shake most food once or twice during cooking, and then it turns out better. I think this is a pretty common issue for most air fryers

Great for individuals, couples, or small families

Generally: Lower temperature by 25°F and set cooking time to 80% of the middle of the recommended cooking time for conventional oven instructions when cooking using air fryer mode. This usually gets you in the ballpark, but with a minute or two to go, you might have to stop it or add time. I've been using that method from the beginning, and it has served me well.

Baking

AMAZINGLY HUGE (7 QT.) AND WONDERFUL AIR FRYER !!!

Recipe book is beautifully layed out and the recipes are very simple...I made two cheesecakes on the first use and the first one was not fully cooked but I made a time adjustment on the second and it came out beautifully! Enough said

I love that this one has a window

- Pillsbury cornbread rolls (they actually have instructions on the package for cooking in an air fryer which is what gave me the idea)

Temperature

Not for everyone

Don't let them overcook. The wings weren't as tender as my in-the-oven go-to recipe, but they took half the time and they were very crispy. One quibble - the racks that come with this don't stack nicely. The first time I stored them inside the fryer, they came apart, and I had to use a cooking chopstick to untangle them from the electric coil on the top of the fryer

Fryer has some issues.

Problem 4: The basket becomes very difficult to open and close once the unit gets hot. It sticks when the basket is closed and doesn't seem to want to close once open. I almost burned myself opening the basket. This problem goes away once the fryer/basket cools

UPON RECEIPT IT WOULD NOT POWER UP! Amazon replaced it. Now the 7 quart model GW23956 fails out of the box! 2 out of 3 delivered defective products! That’s a 67% PRODUCT FAILURE RATE over two different GoWise USA Air Fryers over a 1 1/2 year period! Draw your own conclusion before you buy GoWise USA Products. GoWise USA Products - made in CHINA!

Tray Issues After Using

When the unit cools down, it’s a hassle to get close. While a patient person wouldn’t mind, it can be annoying. I’d go a different route if you need back to back usage. Would not recommend
