My only complaint is that if I were to do it again, I'd get a bigger one. This one fits enough to easily make dinner for two in one round, but dinner for three or more means several rounds of cooking if you want to do the whole thing in the air fryer. Of course we could go back to using the oven and stove, but this thing produces such great food, we often want to do several dishes in it for one meal.

The only aspect that could be seen as a negative for some is the size, its huge and takes up a lot of counter space and its to large to move and store easily. However if you have the space or you need the extra cooking space for a larger family it's worth the counter space.

If these didn't turn out well, I just wasted more money, but to my surprise these chicken tenders turned out AMAZING! Just as good as any restaurant. Perfect crisp on the outside and juicy/tender on the inside. This was all great, but now I had to face cleaning it. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised because it's made out of nonstick material and cleaning was a breeze!! To top it off, it barely takes up any space on my counter

The only thing I didn’t like about this unit that I found in others is a nonstick coating on the inside oven for cleaning. I wish one of these companies would come up with a self cleaning option, because that’s probably my biggest bone of contention. These units are not the easiest to clean. You must clean them while they’re still a bit warm, yet not hot enough to burn you

Want to make a truly GREAT baked potato? Get 2-3 nice big brown Russet potatoes, wash well, poke the surface with a fork all around about a dozen times (just enough to pierce the skin, you don't have to jam the fork in there) to release steam, then lightly olive-oil the entire surface and sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper and garlic powder all over - the oil will allow the spices to stick. Then roast in this air fryer for 60 minutes total at 400F, you can only set a max time of 30 minutes, but that's fine because you should turn them halfway anyway. These will probably be the best bakers you've ever tasted; it works great. And eat the skin - it's delicious and very nutritious

TOAST While this will fit 6 slices of my wider Orowheat bread, it toasts darker on the bottom than it does the top, and the top is what you can see and monitor while it's toasting, so heads up! The preset time for toast is set at 5 minutes and you can adjust the time/darkness level with the multi dial as described above. BAKING- This heats up fast no preheat needed, but you will have to turn the tray 1/2 way though whatever your baking. The insulated rear of the oven maintains the proper temps, while the non insulated doors will not, so un even baking will occur if you don't turn your rack or pan. This is similar with every small oven I've had with glass doors

My tip for steak is to significantly cook it less than you think. For example: we found a steak recipe online that suggested around 15 minutes in the air fryer so this is what we did. It was terrible and rubbery. The second time we tried it, we cut the time down to around 12 minutes- still too much

It is easy to change both the time and the temperature. Bacon - I used the Baking Tray with the Bacon Tray on top of it. The instructions are unclear! The picture diagram shows placing the bacon pan and tray on the 3rd (from the bottom) rack, but the written text states the 4th (or top) rack. Whichever rack you select, make sure you check the bacon as it cooks and make sure you flip it midway through! Times will vary depending on the cut of your bacon and it's very easy to overcook it because it cooks quickly! Again, it is easy to change the time and temperature from the preset ones

e. a healthier way to get close to fried results and enjoy the foods you normally do without the hassle of a toaster oven, cleaner, easier to use and safer to use. It's so faster than a toaster oven and closer to fried food style. This particular unit took a little messing around with to learn the controls and temperature but i don't have time for that

Overall Impression: The Kalorik MAXX air fryer is a great appliance for any family looking to do some healthy cooking.
