Hey guys, let's do a piece of test with the new airfryer. Oh, it doesn't fit, can't figure that one anyways hey guys. So i got myself a new digital airfryer from grumia from costco. This is the 2020 edition

 So the new one is just a round rack that elevates your stuff. This one we use to toast toast and other fun stuff and cook pizzas on it and fits a whole pizza, usually or the personal ones, at least that you buy frozen so you'll see the pan is actually about an inch shorter. I mean i'm sorry an inch taller for the new one and the base is kind of bigger for the old one than the new one as well so well, we will test this out. If i put my hand over this thing, as you can see, it's a round bucket versus a square bucket as well as looking at thing at the trays, it is pretty interesting in terms of that the trays look a little different, because the accessories are different

 As you see, these buns are really really bright compared to the old one and i'm just hitting the fry button to go preheat at 400 degrees, and i think it's going to do it at about. I think 15 minutes as a setting you'll see there's a lot more buttons on this thing than it was than the last one uh frozen. Let'S jump to like i just fill the whole. You know i basically fill the whole bottom part of it and i'm gon na go ahead and hit start

 So i guess you could do more baking in the new one and smaller narrower stuff in the new one as well. So, as you can see, not not much, the height is the main thing, and also the footage is the same thing and same thing with the racks as well um on the plant size. The overall size is roughly about the same. Let'S go ahead and wash this thing real fast: let's go use some dish, soap and wash it just make sure you know that manufacturing stuff is there

And so, while that's going, there's the chicken that we're going to be cooking, it's good to use tongs to get food in and out of this inside the bucket, whatever it's called and then here. It also has an optional tray where you can cook food on two different levels and to save time just open this. You can see inside it's quite big 5

So next time I'm gon na reduce it maybe to like eight minutes

Gourmia Air Fryer | Cooking and How to Use

In this video, I'm going to be reviewing 
and testing out the Gourmia Air Fryer.

The Gourmia Air fryer measures at 15.3 inches 
tall, 13.5 inches in width, and in-depth.  

It also comes with a 6 Quarter removable basket.

Inside the basket, you'll find the crisper tray  

and a multi-purpose rack and all 
these parts are dishwasher safe.

Inside the box you'll also find a manual and 
also a recipe book which has up to 30 recipes.

With the basket removed inside the air fryer, 
you'll see the top heating elements. It's always  

a good idea to wipe this down before using it 
because sometimes it has a lot of residue on  

there and it'll also help with some of the smell 
that you get from the first time of using it.

I'm going to quickly wipe down the air 
fryer and wash out the basket and parts.  

This Gourmia Air Fryer comes with a digital touch 
screen. Press the On button for the display panel  

and you'll see six air fry preset programs 
for various types of foods and six cooking  

preset programs which include bake, roast, 
broil, dehydrate, reheat, and keep warm.

The Air Fry button defaults to 200 degrees 
Celsius or 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes  

with the preheat enabled but you can turn this 
off if you didn't want to preheat it first.  

But it doesn't enable the Turn Reminder so you 
have to remember to press the turn reminder if  

you wanted to turn your food halfway. The fries 
button does have both the preheat and the turn  

reminder enabled so it's just a shame that 
they haven't included it on the air fry mode.

I used the multi-purpose rack to cook more food at 
the same time. So I've layered fries at the bottom  

and chicken nuggets on the rack. Pop 
it in the air fryer once it's preheated  

for 20 minutes but I did forget to switch on 
the turn reminder. So luckily I did remember  

to check it after about 12 or 13 minutes or so 
and here you can see that they're almost done.  

So I just flipped over the chicken nuggets 
and I put it on for another two minutes.

After another two minutes, they were 
perfectly done. You can see here.  

So in 15 minutes, these were all done. Next 
time, I'm just gonna use the Fries button.  

Since I wasn't sure how long it would take for 
the nuggets to get done I just used the air fryer  

button. But now I know that 15 minutes is fine 
for both fries and chicken nuggets I'll just  

hit the Fries button and just to show you when 
I cut into the fries they were perfectly done.

And the chicken nuggets, perfectly 
crisp and cooked all the way through.

I sprayed some cooking oil on a 
small batch of potato spring rolls  

and I air-fried them for 8 minutes at 200 
degrees Celsius or 400 degrees Fahrenheit
