The shoulder straps are incredibly roomy (I have large shoulders) and are long enough for me (I'm also over 6' tall and plump 250 lbs). They are extremely well padded making this one of the most comfortable ruck sacks I've owned. The loop at the top feels sturdy enough to hang from. I hang my sack full of devices, chargers and assorted other necessities from a hook on the wall in my house without worrying that the loop with pop off (like it has done on so many of my other bags)

I bought a used large Mariposa but find that when it's heavily loaded it hits my ass, no matter how I adjust it. I love those packs but haven't quite figured out the fit and I can't really return the used gear.

I really like the look of this backpack (army print with blue and red accents). My main complaint is the lack of compartments/pouches. Excellent choice for all day bag! I bought this for taking in all my stuff to work. I needed something that could hold all my items for an entire day and this does it! Lunch, laptop, notebooks and even an extra pair of shoes! Ive also used it on airplanes and it does fit underneath the seat!
