I got this bag for a 4-day trip to Chicago. I didn't want to bring a full suitcase, as I was only using public transit and didn't want to deal with a heavy rolling suitcase on busses and trains. This bag was perfect. I managed to find a set of packing cubes which squeezed into the bag well and allowed me to pack all of the clothes I needed for the trip, and left enough room in the top of the bag to shove in a little pillow for my overnight train rides to and from the city
