GoPro Hero9 Black vs Nikon FTZ

Accessories are insanely overpriced. Battery life is terrible. Can’t use media mod with a screen protector on the back screen. Lots of little design flaws like that

The two hour battery life is an egregious under estimate. I've done over 1k shots spread over 6+ hours on a battery before changing it early. Just don't keep live view on full time and the power draw is similar to a DSLR at idle.

This was not the camera for the job. Although the picture quality is excellent, everything else left much to be desired. The battery life is very short and if you do not have extras, your shoot will be severely put on hold. Image stabilization is there, but not as impressive as advertisements and commercials would have you believe

I used it for years on my D5200 and the image quality on my Z6 II with this adapter is noticeably better (better color etc) so I don't think it negatively affects image quality. 2. My lens fit on the adapter firmly without any grinding or wobble. I guess some people have had issues with this but I haven't

So your phones memory is constantly being written to when offloading from the GoPro camera and then again by exporting from GoPro Quick app to phone which wears down the memory chip in the phone. Not to mention it also creates duplicates, one on the GoPro Quick app and one on the phone wasting space and ultimately bumping into space problems when trying to export large media from app to phone. This design is terrible and has been reported by hundreds of people for several years and GoPro has done nothing about it. This design is obviously tied to them pushing their subscription cloud service which is a poor business practice and leads to people like me placing a big fat 1 star review

Nikon engineers clearly did not think this thing through when the slapped this design together; they did the least they had to do.

The lens is sharp and you can set the camera to work in Raw format if you want. It's especially appealing if you want ultra-wide shots and don't want to invest in an interchangeable lens camera or upgrade your smartphone to a model with an ultra-wide lens.

And the AF works even better on the new Z bodies compared to D750/D850. This lens is a legend, and I’m keeping it forever.

Cons: *This GoPro is considerably larger and heavier than previous go pros. You are going to feel it if it is attached to your head or on a long extension. This is the price for a front LCD screen as well as improved image stabilisation I think.

8, you're going to get something like a f/1.8 prime in sharpness but with the $$$ and size and weight that comes with it.
