 So if you get someone moving too quick and the primary camera has a blurry face, it can merge in the faster sharper face from the ultrawide camera into your shot. Automatically, i mean that's, you kind of just never have blurry faces in your photos overall, just as someone who's used now, both of these phones for a couple weeks, iphone's camera system is better than the pixels. It just is right. Now it doesn't it's more consistent

 It has great dynamic range, great stabilization and that big sensor is giving you real background blur and impressively staying in focus most of the time and in some of these harder scenes you can definitely see the processing working like here when it's trying to bring up the Shadows, it's pretty noisy but still overall color and exposure and white balance and the details are all great with the pixel 6's video and i'm really happy to see that and then another thing i noticed the pixel really cranks iso all the way up in the viewfinder. So you can see a lot of noise before you snap a photo and start the processing, like it's very easy to see this here in a screen recording. But that's what it's doing you can see in a selfie viewfinder, especially it'll. Look super jacked up and really noisy just to keep a high frame rate and shutter speed when you're taking the selfie and then you take it and you see it process and then everything sharpens up and it looks miles better

Pixel 6/6 Pro Review: Almost Incredible!

 I figured I'd try the Pixel, having a few friends who love their older Pixels.  The good stuff first:  (+) The camera is truly amazing. I have a professional DSLR and I can say that this is by far the best phone camera I've ever used. The S9 was great, but it had some issues with artifaction and contrast

 Not sure how they swung this but I guess Google would have it figured out.  (+) Battery life is good. I can get through the entire day of moderate use without charging it until I go to bed. With heavy use, I imagine I'll have to charge it before then, so I'll see how it goes on a few upcoming trips, but my S9 wasn't able to hold a charge past noon on a good day, so it's a huge improvement there

So close, Google! And yet.

I've come to the Pixel 6 from an LG G6, which I really liked. I was happy with the camera, but its OS was dated and the battery was near its end, so it was time to switch. My wife just bought a new Samsung phone, and she wasn't thrilled with it. I'm just a little concerned about the potential for Chinese spyware, and other bad actors on the web, so I'm happy to have the Pixel's extended security and OS upgrades

Still a lot to learn

 It's a better overall camera system. But this, the hardware is so good in the pixels and you can see that promise in those 10 out of 10 shots that the pixel fan in me is like hoping. maybe in one or two software updates it'll be a 10 out of 10 more often. But until then because we don't know if that's ever gonna happen

 And I would say I'm growing kind of fond of this racing stripe we got down the middle. It breaks up the monotony on the back. They've managed to make a camera module that looks legitimately cool and powerful, although there is a fair bit of a protrusion. Also, this is a big phone

 And while I do love side mounted fingerprint scanners, and this one actually does the scanning extremely quickly, it takes a fair bit of time to process that information. Also, every now and again, when you're closing an app or when you're pulling up and holding to open up multitasking, it's not as smooth as it should be. But to be fair, a lot of this doesn't feel like a lack of power, just a lack of optimization for this new chip. So fingers crossed, it improves

 I'm talking like 2020 flagship sized phone. So not for the faint hearted. But that size isn't wasted. This is an LCD display, not OLED

 So I wasn't planning on covering this phone. I mean, sure, it has a lot of good things going

 for it, but I thought, okay, it's just another really good value $300 to $400 phone.

 But then a couple of days ago, when it was officially announced, I saw the price,

 199 euros. Okay, I'll take a proper look.

 As far as the packaging is concerned, there isn't a single indication that you bought

 anything less than a flagship. It's a weighty box that comes with an insert first,

 with a couple of manuals and a clear transparent case. You've got a Poco sticker, which is

 backwards for some reason, then a full sheet of stickers, the smartphone, a USB-C cable,

 and a pretty hefty charger. I'm going to be honest with you,

 when I found out the price of the phone, I had absolutely no idea what to compare it to.

 Because yes, it does have some obvious caveats. But still, the spec sheet on this phone completely

 wipes the floor with everything even close to its price range, a 6.6 inch full HD plus HDR 10,

 120 Hertz display, a 5,160 milliamp hour battery with powerful 33 watt charging right out of the

 box. A 64 megapixel quad camera setup, a 20 megapixel front facing camera, all paired with

 the new Snapdragon 732G, which is up to 15% faster than the Snapdragon 730G, which in itself was
