 So if you get someone moving too quick and the primary camera has a blurry face, it can merge in the faster sharper face from the ultrawide camera into your shot. Automatically, i mean that's, you kind of just never have blurry faces in your photos overall, just as someone who's used now, both of these phones for a couple weeks, iphone's camera system is better than the pixels. It just is right. Now it doesn't it's more consistent

 It has great dynamic range, great stabilization and that big sensor is giving you real background blur and impressively staying in focus most of the time and in some of these harder scenes you can definitely see the processing working like here when it's trying to bring up the Shadows, it's pretty noisy but still overall color and exposure and white balance and the details are all great with the pixel 6's video and i'm really happy to see that and then another thing i noticed the pixel really cranks iso all the way up in the viewfinder. So you can see a lot of noise before you snap a photo and start the processing, like it's very easy to see this here in a screen recording. But that's what it's doing you can see in a selfie viewfinder, especially it'll. Look super jacked up and really noisy just to keep a high frame rate and shutter speed when you're taking the selfie and then you take it and you see it process and then everything sharpens up and it looks miles better

Pixel 6/6 Pro Review: Almost Incredible!

 I figured I'd try the Pixel, having a few friends who love their older Pixels.  The good stuff first:  (+) The camera is truly amazing. I have a professional DSLR and I can say that this is by far the best phone camera I've ever used. The S9 was great, but it had some issues with artifaction and contrast

 I was deciding between a few phones and had narrowed it down to the OnePlus 8T, the Huawei P30 Pro, and the Samsung S21. OnePlus has notoriously awful customer service and the phone wasn't water resistant, so that was a dealbreaker for me, and then Huawei was too expensive and had at least the threat of compatibility issues. I figured I'd try the Pixel, having a few friends who love their older Pixels.  The good stuff first:  (+) The camera is truly amazing

 Not sure how they swung this but I guess Google would have it figured out.  (+) Battery life is good. I can get through the entire day of moderate use without charging it until I go to bed. With heavy use, I imagine I'll have to charge it before then, so I'll see how it goes on a few upcoming trips, but my S9 wasn't able to hold a charge past noon on a good day, so it's a huge improvement there

So close, Google! And yet.

I've come to the Pixel 6 from an LG G6, which I really liked. I was happy with the camera, but its OS was dated and the battery was near its end, so it was time to switch. My wife just bought a new Samsung phone, and she wasn't thrilled with it. I'm just a little concerned about the potential for Chinese spyware, and other bad actors on the web, so I'm happy to have the Pixel's extended security and OS upgrades

Still a lot to learn

 It's a better overall camera system. But this, the hardware is so good in the pixels and you can see that promise in those 10 out of 10 shots that the pixel fan in me is like hoping. maybe in one or two software updates it'll be a 10 out of 10 more often.  I can't get a signal in half the places i go, where i phones, my old pixel 5, and Samsung's have no trouble. Also random disconnects from network. Please ditch Samsung modem on Pixel 7!

 I wish my S8+ did not break!! This was supposed to be an upgrade. Not worth the money!

a person would prefer to just lower the volume from a touch of a button to silence it! Also, if I'm getting a call from an app I never see it appear on my screen if select notification. I see the message after. They really screwed up with the sound features on this phone. I must say camera is great! Scrolling is quick, but that's the only positive feedback I can give at this time

Why mess with the way you adjust sound?

 No headphone jack, and I knew it didn't have one, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Display aspect ratio, please quit making these phones look like a remote control. I couldn't reach the top on 5.5 in 16x9 screen, but I could reach both sides

It's not an upgrade

 Now, they did downgrade it from the 1440p panel of the S20 plus, which was a very, very weird, but I don't think it's as big of a deal on this phone because it kind of, you know, they did one thing at a time. They did two things that I wasn't really happy about. With the S21, they put a plastic back on that phone and they put a low resolution display. This one, they at least kept the really premium feeling on the everything else on this phone, but they just downgraded that panel, which I still think looked kind of good for the most part

 On the front, you have a 6.7 inch dynamic AMOLED display, it's 1080p and at that point, I thought it looked great and at this point, it still looks pretty good. Now, they did downgrade it from the 1440p panel of the S20 plus, which was a very, very weird, but I don't think it's as big of a deal on this phone because it kind of, you know, they did one thing at a time. They did two things that I wasn't really happy about

 And as I mentioned at that point, I mean, it's really hard to mess these things up in my opinion. So in terms of the performance that pretty much covers it up there and in terms of battery life, I mean, this thing has a 4,800 milliamp hour battery and has wireless charging or reverse wireless charging as well, and this is another one of those devices that I just think Samsung just put everything they had in their phone at that point. Except for micro SD card slot and maybe except for the 1440p panel, this is still a very good looking phone and it still has a really good battery life as well, which is another really big advantage for it. So in terms of battery that covers it up there, and to be completely honest, I think the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is still completely worth it in 2022
