Glorious GMMK PRO vs Logitech G815 Lightsync

The keys are dished rather than flat like some competitiors, and that is a really nice feel. Ergonomically it is really working for me. Also the Bluetooth connects REALLY fast. Impressively so

This kit has some of the worst stabilizers i've had the displeasure of "using". Spacebar rattles and the other ones stick. To remedy this you can try cleaning them but not like Glorious instructs on their website with isopropyl alcohol; that murks the inside of the plastic housings and makes them abrasive and scratchy rendering them useless unless you take em apart and fully de-grease them in a soapy water bath then hand dry them after a rinse. Doing that reverts the lot back to usable (as in they will function) but with more rattle

* SINCE they are Logitech's, not sure why the shift+ keys aren't illuminated like they were on the g810. I can't say I remember which number gives me & or $ or %, and NOT having them lit up really sucks in low light. At least the big bonus for the 810's 'special' switches was that it lit everything up. * UNLIKE my 810 (older model), not ALL keys allow custom lighting

The Romer-G keycaps are also bad shapewise and uncomfortable. But, I would say that if you don't care about the brand, get a Glorious GMMK. Even better, get the barebones edition for it; if it's available in your region. It's hot-swappable and compatible with many keycap sets, so you can get the exact key feel that you want to get

Anyway, I have some serious arthritis and tendonitis issues in both right and left hands and wrists. Surgeries for ruptured tendons, a steel plate on my left wrist holding it together combined with a subpar physical therapy on my last surgery making typing very difficult at times. The overall typing experience of my Kailh Speed Silver and PBT keycaps build was quite good. I was surprised by how well everything fit together, resulting in a light and rattle-free touch-typing experience that’s made all the more impressive considering the GMMK Pro isn’t pre-assembled. While I wouldn’t say that it’s the best feeling keyboard I’ve used out of the box, the GMMK Pro is definitely up there.

The keyboard as such has good finishes, good quality materials, excellent response time for the moment (perhaps because it is new, good battery life) the product with the promised quality, except that the cable that connects and powers the battery It is a cable of dubious quality, it is supposed to receive a braided cable and I have received a very fragile connection cable that I am afraid to disconnect because I think I can break it. Additionally, when I plug and unplug the cable it snaps in a bit and it snaps out the same way, it's like it's not the keyboard cable. Adicionalmente, cuando conecto y desconecto el cable entra un poco forzado y sale forzado del mismo modo, es como si no fuera el cable para el teclado

Time to get more custom...and along came the highly-popular GMMK Pro, mostly because I couldn't find a reasonable 100% and I wanted a rotary encoder

- Really, super programmable per key. For example I have just the logo to do a lighting effect while the other keys are static. - The G HUB program that sets up the lights and macros was intuitive enough I figured out how to use it just tinkering with it. I was able to do a lot of interesting configuration on my KB

So what i need is more SMOOTH and less heavy switches! also i want them to be accessible in the market and not overpriced

The table just does not comfort or contour which will turn some people off but you don't strictly speaking need a pad- It's just more comfortable. -Heavy, if you are carrying it around you'll notice a different in the metal frame. -Battery length is good but the cable system makes you want it to last forever.

I think the price is totally worth it! I did end up buying the durock v2 stabilizers here on Amazon and I think that upgrade is a must before you assemble your board. The stock stabilizers were over lubed and just not great. I had no fitment issues putting in the durock v2s. Honestly for the price, just get those so you don't have to disassemble your whole bored again later

The replacement is exactly the same as the first and has the same issue, so that’s going to need some reworking on their side.. I think injection mold...

I would have loved if the G915 came in a white key color with a silver or white board color scheme! I did not see such options for anything other than the G915 TKL, and the button placement was completely different on that particular version of the TKL. I did also try the G915 TKL version. I was disappointed in this one because they removed the macro keys G1 through G5. They also removed the M1 through MR buttons for program profiles
