Glock FM 81 vs TOPS Knives BOB Brothers of Bushcraft Fieldcraft Knife

The blade is still healthy. I used it as a step by sliding it in the cracks between rocks on a wall.

My last outing I chipped the blade (quite ugly) about 1/32" deep by 1/16" long piece of blade broke off while processing a wild rabbit. Apparently the rabbits neck was to much for this blade (cotton tail, very soft bones). Yes I had the rabbit on a felled tree trunk so the damage absolutely came from the rabbits neck.

For carving i mean some people might, but i i didn't buy it for coffin. I bought it for destroying things, mainly wood there. We have that one there. ...

Sturdy, sharp, American made, full Tang, with a heavy duty handle. It's a good size for a belt attachment. Nothing negative to say here. Very nice knife

3) The ESEE-4 was $72 cheaper than the Bravo 1. Price was a factor in my decision, but it was the lowest in priority. Since I had no complaints about either knife, the fact I could sharpen the ESEE and not the Bravo, combined with the price difference, is what drew the line.

It could have been sharper, but it was pretty sharp out of the box (unlike my latest Cold Steel knife, which was duller than some of my butter knives--no exaggeration!) so I can't complain too much. The sheath is awesome, clipping the knife securely into place, and easily clipping onto a belt without forcing you to remove the belt first to slide it through the sheath's belt loop. I wish the clip release had a more ergonomic design to allow me to more easily press it with a thumb to remove the blade, but this is a pretty small problem in the scheme of things. The belt "clip" (not exactly a clip--you'd have to see it to see what I mean) allows you to lock it on so it can't fall off of your belt

My only complaint is that I do not care for the sheath. The clip for it doesn't fit well on a a regular sized belt (ie. not a thick leather belt). It can move around some on the belt making it hard to get to

This knife is very light for the size which was important for me. The weight is in the handle side of the knife. The bottle opener is a bonus. I have not used the saw yet but expect it to work well for kindle

Mainly because I have not found a knife to DO-IT-ALL. Until now. This bad boy is not for child'splay. This knife is hefty

-Hilt: the handle is made out of that famous and much-lauded Glock polymer. It is lightweight, comfortable, and grippy. While it can be scuffed fairly easily if you slam it against metal or rock, it will not crack or chip with hard use.

The handle was well thought out. Multiple grooves to reduce hand fatigue after long periods of use as well as a great micarta grip. Soft in the hand but grippy. Will need oiled often if in a humid or wet enviornment as it is 1095 carbon steel
