I will return the Ratio because the ‘larger’ shell and weight just aren’t as attractive as the Union model...( my Smith googles fit both models well)

 Bigger shell and its heavier ..quite a bit heavier. With a large XL sized head the Ratio just looked oddly large

It fits well with the goggles but the helmet is notably heavier than my previous gyro helmet even without skull candy earphones installed.

Heavier and bulkier than the older gyro gear.

Tested. This works well against trees the snow and other skiers! I've had a few times I would have been severely injured if it wasn't for this helmet.

Having purchased the helmet a month ago I have used several times. Personally I appreciate its low profile design when my hood can be up and coat zipped completely.  Secondly the slight brim on the helmet to me makes the feel more complete when paired with Salomon goggles like the LO FI, just the as a buyer you can clearly see that the fit and finish is there.
