Blade is same great quality as any other Gerber I have ever owned.  it's ok. not the fastest opener I have. Blade is reasonably sharp out of the box. Seems like a durable, robust tool but if I had to do it all over again I would probably get the full size SOG Trident

 The blade deploys slower than I anticipated as well. Even with these negative features I did purchase another one after the fact. The key is to watch and get at a good price.

Good knife @ the right price

 Blade keeps a pretty good edge and sharpens up nice. Pocket clip is very sturdy and will last the test of time. G10 handle is awesome nice grip, fills out of our hand well not small,tiny and thin so your hand slips. The only con's I can say about the knife is the metal could be a Little bit better grade of steal and the spring assist could be a little bit stronger so it pops open faster with less effort

 I can't really see this as an everyday carry knife. It is a meat knife and it is a lot of fun to play with I mean you can just sit around and you know extend and retract it over and over again, and the blade is really really sharp, and you know you just I mean it's super Sharp and the blade itself is made of l max or L max steel, and this is supposed to be a really good knife. If you do a lot of knife shopping, they kind of come and go randomly availability wise, like for example, shortly after I picked up this one, it was sold out and the supply is sort of come and go now. This is a really neat knife and I think it's completely safe if you wanted to carry it in your pocket, because I mean you're not going to accidentally brush against this enough to trigger it in your pocket
