Gateron Milky Yellow vs Gateron Brown

these switches are probably the best ones if you are on a budget. tbh they are really good stock but I wanted to go the extra mile and lube them myself and they sound even better even though they were kind already factory lubed. I 100% would recommend these.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, both Cherry MX and Gateron browns came out at the bottom of the ranking by this measure. On top of that, some experiments I did with swapping in more tactile stems confirm that the brown switches also have relatively weak tactile leaf springs.
