Garmin Fenix 3hr vs Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

i highly recommended having one of these .The only issues with Garmin watches is the price . They aren't over priced, they are just expensive.

But the short battery life makes this watch a poor value. If this watch had a t-shirt size, it would be extra-medium. I don't hate it, and I don't love it.

This watch will keep you informed every step along the way and reduce your time once you are back doing reports so you can get back to what you would rather be doing...

(Looking at you Lum-Tec!). Smart watches did not attract me for fitness tracking, but rather for the multitude of available watch faces. Truth be told, I do like the form factor of apple watches, but the 24-hour battery life and needing an iphone are reasons I originally decided to steer towards Samsung. My primary uses are for call / text notifications, Ring door alarms, exercise and sleep monitors, and timers/alarms

This is a small issue that I have gotten over, since many of the different screens have large enough type or graphs to read without putting on my glasses. This is a large watch with heft, probably not the best fit for small wrists, but for men with large wrists, it really looks and fits great! The battery is amazing compared to my Apple iWatch that I no longer wear because I love this watch so much more. The iWatch would barely last a full day without needing a charge to get through another day. But, the Fenix 3 HR will literally last a full week without needing to be charged even when using the GPS and other apps everyday - one caveat to this, once the watch gets below 25% battery charge remaining, the GPS and apps that rely on GPS tend to get a little screwy
