Love the AIR FRY feature- it crisp any type of foods and keeps us healthy! (fried chicken, French fries, fish sticks, etc).

I have been able to cook much faster and even create and come up with much more healthier recipes. I am super excited that I can use the dehydrator to dehydrate fruit myself, because I get much more out of it and I find it fun. Also, being able to cook kabobs in here is awesome! My dinner is done fast, it comes out very crispy and even comes out with great taste and flavor.

However, the air fryer setting is limited to only a few temperature settings, and I am skeptical that it is actually keeping at that temperature -- it takes several minutes for it to preheat, but if you then cancel the operation and restart it so you can change the time (without opening the door) you'll have to wait several more minutes for preheating. Also, we regularly have to add 5-10 minutes over the cook time of our Instant Pot, or else things like bone-in thighs or drumsticks will not cook all the way through. It does fine as a toaster or conventional oven, and actually has way more flexibility in terms of temperatures as a conventional oven, but if you want it specifically for its air frying capabilities I would recommend looking elsewhere.

It baked okay, evenly but not very hot - more like 300 F for a 350 F setting, according to the thermometer. Really slow to heat up, too. Probably would work fine with only convection oven settings used - those seemed to warm to temp set correctly and faster - even to 450 F. Toasted great

Baked beautiful puff pastries for my holiday dinner table. Worked better than my large clunky oven. Because it functioned like a convection oven which distributed heat evenly. Amazing gadget to roast my almonds, pecan and granola

I wish in the directions they would suggest what is a good cooking time for certain foods but it does not. Overall, the price is pretty good for what you get.

The preheating of this unit is waste of energy and should be up to the owner if they want to do this, not the manufacture, IMHO. My Air fryer came with super loose shelving which I had to fix myself or return the air fryer back to Amazon which it had already been done once! Amazon did give me a discount for the hassles of ''fixing it'' They are built very cheaply and also have very sharp edges so be careful if you must take it apart to correct damage from shipping. I have only used it make french fries but it does do the job but it takes along time to the job. I may keep it and I might decide to toss it as I consider a fire hazard of sorts, IMHO

Other than really just more power, the only other thing I'd wish for in this oven is some sort of heat deflector to redirect hot air from the back of the unit either up or to the sides. This would allow the user to push the oven closer to the wall, saving space without fear of cooking something outside (behind) the unit. All in all, it's been a moderately useful purchase and for the most part does its assigned job well, if a bit more slowly than expected. While it excels on usable space, it's inferior to my crappy old air fryer in terms of performance
