I just pulled my first shot with Eureka Mignon Specialita + Gaggia Pro Classic after using shitty grinder for a while, and IT’S EYE OPENING. I’m very far away from sophisticated coffee snob, so couldn’t imagine that I could taste such a huge difference with the same type of coffee but only changing the grinder.

5 cups at the 6 oz. standard per day with occasional doubling up. I run a very fine grind by preference through an immersion dripper (currently using a Bonavita purchased here) and my roast taste runs from dark to "from the shriveled bowls of hell" also known as "smokey". I'm happenstance about my unit maintenance, I've probably taken it apart and cleaned it out an average of every 6 months or so

Well it came in this past Thursday and I’ve pulled around 30 shots or so and they have all been nowhere close to good. I’ve been using 17g of a locally roasted coffee that was roasted on the 3rd of April and pulling 34g out in about 28 seconds.

Firstly, I use this machine MAINLY for making espresso grinds, (on the last highest FINE setting), and usually one or two at a time. So my review will be set around the expectations in this task. I used to work in a coffee shop and make 30 espresso's every morning, so while this is my first grinder i've purchased, it is definitely not my first time at the grinder rodeo. You may assume that I might not quite be a complete ignoramus about all things grinder

This is an initial review as the grinder showed up last night, I ground a bit to test it relative to my old grinder, and I ground and brewed from it this morning. Quick and Dirty: Pro: 1. The grinder has the functionality to grind from "gravel" to "powder". French press is totally viable off of this grinder, and I would presume Turkish is as well
