1/12/2022 - Still great! - 4.5/5 stars Time flies! Anyway, I have owned the desk for nearly 3 years at this point and I have had no major issues. A minor thing I did notice is a bit of tilt towards myself (as a round pen rolled toward me); however, this is most probably due to the imbalance that my current setup introduces (with my "desktop" computer literally hanging from the desk bottom). It does not roll as freely on carpeting due to the added resistance of the carpet. This is a good office chair for an office environment, and it should hold up well to daily use. Steelcase offers a 12-year warranty on this product, so they must also put faith in its ability to hold up well.

The desk was only $500 when I bought mine. Now you'd be paying $789 for the same desk. Blame the pandemic if you wish, it still seems crazy that it's gone up so much.

I did so much research and studied about chairs that cost between 400-800. I would only recommend this chair if it’s under 450. This is not something I would buy if it’s over 500. The back support is average and arm rests are good but the cushion is below average
