The chair is very easy to assemble. I did it alone and it took me maybe 10 minutes. The box came pretty beat up but on time. I am sure that there's a lot of people hyping it up with the positives, so I'll give the CONS first

1/12/2022 - Still great! - 4.5/5 stars Time flies! Anyway, I have owned the desk for nearly 3 years at this point and I have had no major issues. A minor thing I did notice is a bit of tilt towards myself (as a round pen rolled toward me); however, this is most probably due to the imbalance that my current setup introduces (with my "desktop" computer literally hanging from the desk bottom). Update 3/16/2022 - I have had this chair less than a year now and use it every day since I work from home. Originally, the chair was very comfortable, but now less than a year of usage, the seat foam has compressed to the point when it is almost like sitting on a hard board. After only a short time of sitting, I have to continuously get up as by behind starts to hurst and gets sore. I purchased this because of the good reviews and for the reasonable price, though not inexpensive

It took us about 2 hours to put it together. The desk feels quite sturdy and my monitors don’t shake when I type, which was my primary objective. I have the 42x27” desk with a lavender frame. The photos online make the frame look a little more pink than it really is

The biggest thing (in addition to the hard seat) is the chair is not designed for you to sit up straight (there's a little lag when you try to sit up straight and basically you end up sitting away from the chair and I started to get a little bit of neck pain). I realized that the chair is designed for you to lean back on the headrest as you type, but for one, I am not used it, and two the seat cushion is not flush and comfortable enough to support such posture. So it's not all that comfortable leaning back nor is it comfortable trying to sit forward. They have a follow up model to this chair called T50 Air (which has a mesh seat cushion) but they are not available in the States yet (Sidiz has a USA website but they don't sell directly and instead they sell through Amazon)

The desk was only $500 when I bought mine. Now you'd be paying $789 for the same desk. Blame the pandemic if you wish, it still seems crazy that it's gone up so much.

Keep in mind that every ergonomic, high quality office chair nowadays is way overpriced. This is a $300 chair that's going for ~$450. The Leap v2 is a $450 chair that is going for $1000+, etc. So if you buy any decent chair now you're overpaying unfortunately
