Could have been a great camera if only Canon bad put a little more effort in the software. The autofocus is slow and innacurate, and if you are not in manual mode, the camera won't shoot if it thinks it is out of focus no matter what the photographer thinks. Its a shame because the sensor is great and lenses are very good, but soffware is just too bad in this camera

It's no slouch when shooting RAW, either, with excellent noise handling even as you raise the ISO for low-light situations. On top of that, it has in-body image stabilization, which does a fantastic job of reducing handheld camera shake.

This is my first Canon camera, before I used Nikon, Fuji and Pentax. Have to admit very good image quality and lot of potential functionality available behind simplest point-and-shoot mode. Some functionality is completely missing - i.e

The best camera for videography that we've tested with an APS-C sensor is the Fujifilm X-T4. This hybrid stills/video camera offers excellent performance for both photography and video. It's relatively portable, and it has a sturdy, weather-sealed magnesium alloy body and a fully articulated screen that makes it easier to shoot videos or vlogs.

Finally the Canon M100 (or M200) is a camera which I don't normally recommend as it lacks manual controls, but would probably fit quite well here - it's cheap, compact, and while the video won't win any awards it's fair for the 24mbps bit rate. And the autofocus is quite good. The GX85 is a much, much better camera if you want to learn to capture _good_ video though, but it sounds like this is more means-to-an-end than hobby.

Especially for someone who came from a Canon DSLR (I didn't need to make a single tweak to improve my EOS 7D ergonomics - it was pretty much perfect out of the box... except that it's, of course, way bulkier and heavier than the mirrorless X-T4 and there's nothing you can do about that :))

If you're going to use this camera mainly for video, only a few lenses work as expected and pull focus smoothly, accurately and with minimum focus breathing according to Fuji, the 18-55 F2.8-4, (which is my main video lens) the 50-140 F2.8 and 10-24 F4.0

Is that normal behaviour with this lens? None of the reviews mentioned that. I tried the usual things like reset the camera, updated the firmware, etc but nothing has changed.
