It’s perfect and brings out the flavor!

 It’s wood but it’s been finished to the point that i thought it was plastic when i first picked it up. The color of the stain is off as well. I ordered the walnut but what i got had an almost pinky tone to it. I held it up to something Id stained walnut & it’s not even close

Doesn't grind salt well

I am completely delighted in this pepper grinder. The weight is perfect - not so heavy I feel uncomfortable going sizeable amounts of grinding, not so light it feels cheap. The color is gorgeous, and you can really see the wood grains. The screw on the top does click into each position, so when refilling, you really just have to count how many clicks for your desired size grind, I have no problem with this

  I'm also very pleased that this grinder doesn't leave the dreaded "fairy ring" of pepper when you set it down. The grinding gears are tight enough that one solid shake against your hand when you're doing grinding is enough to clear the looser powder from the mechanism, and I don't find pepper on my counters afterwards.  Excellent design!  My only complaint is how easy it was to overfill, as I wasn't able to readily see any kind of max-fill line in the grinder. Underfilling a little and doing it more frequently is definitely worth it, and not enough for me to dock a star

Just like the rest of the battery grinders. Ceramic grinder wears out in about two months. Needs stainless metal grinders

This grinder is my favorite now. I have always only used manual grinders and well the difference is huge. The Epare grinder is easy to use just like a manual grinder but with a lot less effort AND you done need to use both hand, it's easy to just hold it with one hand and press the top button for easy pepper or salt grinding. One of my favorite features is that it has an LED light at the bottom, so you know exactly how much you are adding to your food
