I also don't like the fad of using mesh on the straps. It doesn't provide any benefit. The mesh used is abrasive against the skin and also feels hot against the skin.

 I Have a GoPro in there and some other equipment and you have a main top, the zippered compartment, and above the zippers, you have the Burgh shell fabric protecting those zippers and making those if is a lot more water resistant. So on the back you have of course a grab handle, two shoulder straps with latch points - Arctic Fox logos on them, sternum strap you got a nice mesh back panel on the on the shoulder straps and and here and that's pretty much it. So I'm going to talk about something inside that I really really like. So I unzip the top pocket and if you see here inside is white, really white and bright which is the point so it's easy to find things in air, especially if you have different colored things in your backpack

 So it makes it very breathable. This thing is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the strap can be adjusted for left or right-handed carry so no worries if you're one or the other. I know lefties you kind of get left out on a lot of slings, so what you can do is just flip it to the other side here, poke it through and now you're in left-handed, but I like mine right-handed, so I'm just gon na flip. It back over here actually or you can use this back pocket

 This is just you know, a little extra pocket if you need it, but we've been kind of using it to like stuff to strap in here kind of hide it away. You can't zip it. Obviously, when that happens, but also in the back here, there are these two little clips, and so what you can do is use this to attach this to the outside of one of your other bags. I'Ve been kind of using this as a like secondary additional bag

 If you need it and is added security, you can actually throw a little travel lock in here. So if you don't trust that little plastic clip or you just want the added security of a lock, you do have that loop in there. So this cannot slide right now, so we'll take that off and obviously just reverse the process. If you need to get in your bag slide that clip up slide that across and undo these zippers, they just come apart easy

Pacsafe Venturesafe X Anti-Theft Sling Pack Review (1 Month of Use)

My only complaints are that: I wish the laptop sleeve was against the body instead of on the outermost pocket of the bag, that outermost pocket should unzip all the way, and (ideally haha) it'd be a bit lighter (it's about 3.8lbs, which isn't the worst but definitely isn't the lightest). 

I've found the straps and hip belt are really nice, and very very important when backpacking since you'll almost certainly be carrying a lot and get shoulder fatigue. 

The zippers are YKK and superrrr durable-- I put these through hell and back, and they've held up like a champ. (Like legit my whole hand would be sore after zipping cause of how overstuffed my bag was hahaha, don't be like me)

Looking to buy a new one for my trip in Asia soon going for about 5 months but I really don't need much im torn between these two Osprey is really popular the peak design one goes from 35 to 45 though but I also feel like a regular backpack might just be ok? Advice please

 Opposite side is going to give you a zippered mesh pocket. The back pocket here has a zipper that opens up, just nice and roomy. It's got a little bit of padding here. The back gives you some more mesh so it's breathable, soft and plush

 You can see that the two zippers actually unhook from that rhubar. So they're also connected too which I think is great. You can just slide them out from each other and open up that front panel. The pocket is nice and roomy, nice and soft on the inside with some little slip pockets there and you have a key leash

 Then of course you have the adjustable waist strap. It's got this really cool pop and lock security clip. So when you twist it and then you push down that twisty part, yep that's what I said, you just slide this out. There you go

 Waist Pack and it's from Pacsafe. This baby is super lightweight, made of nylon diamond

 can see that there's some kind of contraption going on. It's actually got this really cool
