5 seconds and only rotates maybe 3-5 complete turns. I find quality control lacking when items are made for cheaply overseas. I have contacted this company and I'm confident they will send me handles that work as they were meant to. If not I can always return to amazon in 30 days

I’m starting to build a collection of ropes, I’ve split 4 of these specific ropes, and a total of 9 ropes with varying materials. I highly recommend this rope for beginners. It’s a licorice rope, so it’s more durable then most ropes and will last you the longest. I like these particular ropes since they’re convenient and durable, you can jump in the gym, basketball court, garage and just about anywhere without having to worry about damaging the floors like other ropes

Although I am naturally disastrous when it comes to double unders, singles are great and the weight of the rope makes it easier to attempt double unders without whipping myself too much. Honestly with all the different options for jump ropes it was hard to find one that describes what i was looking for, HEIGHT!!! I was looking for one that was long enough just because more often than not jump ropes are somewhat short. After unboxing it, i immediately took off the twist-tie and stood up, first reaction was "this thing is tall" im 6'4" and i had to cut off around a foot of it, honestly wouldn't be surprised if a 7 footer could use this. The only reason i'm giving it 4 stars is because though the instructions for shortening were fairly clear, the plastic prong piece was kind of frustrating to deal with but other than that, TALL GUYS THIS IS LONG ENOUGH FOR YOU!

Buy it obly if you are still learning DU , it is not recommended for those who already jump at a good speed. It's better for those who are wanting to get the DU.
