 Ok, I'm at the bottom of the hill, time to take the cables off, disconnect from the hill, and we're good to go.

 One of the interesting features of these Vole 3-pin bindings are these cable accessories, and they simply attach onto the binding pretty easily, and then they clamp around the heel of your boot. And what this cable does is it provides resistance to that forward movement, and that helps on that trailing ski when you're doing the tail mark turn, it allows you to apply more pressure to that rear ski, and that's the key to really good tail mark turns. One of the downsides is they restrict that forward movement, so if you're ski touring where you have a little bit of up and a little bit of down, a little bit of up and a little bit of down, a little bit of level, that resistive force is great for the down, but it actually limits your mobility on the flats and on the uphill. So the only time I ever put them on is like today when I know I'm going to be skiing downhill for 20 or 30 minutes straight, I would never put them on for just a little rolling hills or up or down

 There's a little tab here for self-adhesive, and all you do is you insert the skin through the hole that's cut in the ski, and you can see on the other side here, it just simply slides into this little catch right here, and then making sure all the snow and ice and water are off the base, you simply adhere them. My review of the 2016 Fischer S-Bound 98 Ski, the Voile 3-pin cable binding and the Fischer BCX 675 boot.  This is a great setup for off track conditions in the area where I live.  I've skied everything from soft powder to wet slush and love this setup.  They are too wide and heavy for use on groomed trails, but perfect in the backcountry when you need some extra flotation.

 I'm not an expert reviewer, I obviously haven't skied on every make and type of ski that's

 out there, but I've put a lot of miles on skis over the years, and I've owned a lot

 of different pairs, and I really think these Fisher S-bound 98s are probably my favorite

 Of course these aren't my only skis, I've got track skis and heavier duty skis for the

 steep and the deep, but I really like these Fisher S-bound 98s.

 I have them, a set of Bolle 3-pin bindings and Fisher BCX 675 3-pin boots mounted to

 They work really well, I'm happy with that combination, they're light enough that you

 can do a climb like this without a whole lot of effort, and they offer enough control that

 Everybody else in the last two years almost focused solely on the fatter skis, I don't like to call them fat skis because I think they're very agile but now we finally come back with a new en-pez ski for people at Rossignol. Experience with titanium plate, a special tip that is lighter to provide a quicker beginning of the turn, a construction that is built with social responsibility in the way it is produced using the material and the glues and everything so that it is kind to the environment, more kind to the environment. And after that, 16 meter radius for a 176, after all that, the question is, for you, is it good to ski with? The answer is in this demonstration. Look at how regular is the carve of the front of the ski and that's a huge improvement compared to the skis at Rossignol a couple of years back when they had a little sign here that would say auto turn, that didn't work with me at all

Now, we don't have this auto turn, we have a great carve and you can see that the side wall of the ski goes all the way up to here, which is kind of the point where it becomes a little bit rocker.
