In summary, I think it's a great VPN provider but I wouldn't recommend it for p2p / torrenting, China or users who seek advanced features. For the everyday VPN it's very good, although a bit expensive. Recently I think they messed up by creating the bland Lightway rather than just adopting WireGuard, and until it's open-source it should be taken as a marketing move. A last remark to notice how they seem to have affiliates and advertising everywhere; for the prices charged this shouldn't be necessary

Using a VPN will both secure your data, as all of your data traffic is sent through en encrypted virtual tunnel, and it also disguises your IP (this is where its useful for torrents). 

Customer service wasn't always a blast, to be frank, the vpn that I currently use wins in that regard for sure, but it's still a decent vpn. I just ended up canceling my express vpn subscription as I found a cheaper yet still very well-created service that I use up till now. It's not like I had too much of a shitty experience with them, they've been a good first vpn. It's just that I found options that don't hurt my wallet but are of excellent quality

Express was one of the first vpns that I've tried. I decided I wasn't going to be that one person who picks out the free or the cheapest option. Good well-rounded products and services cost money, right? 

The speeds were very nice, no super annoying ping or anything. It was definitely manageable. They have a shitload of servers, so that helped I think. And they, as far as I know, moved entirely to ram servers, which in my case was what I preferred

About express vpn

I really like this one. It feels like they’ve got a bit of improvement to do, but for the price, it’s worth using. I’m really happy with PrivadoVPN and highly recommend it.

Fast speeds on the paid plans. Not quite as fast as something like Express, but cheaper, so it balances out.
