 They are super stiff at first and they do need the breaking in period, but already i could feel how precise they are and just they really fit. My foot well so i cannot say too much about the fit, but i got them in 34 and a half like the la sportiva otakis. So i guess that's my number and again they feel so precise on the toe box. I didn't really heel hook or toe hook in them, however, yeah standard, nice, big molded patch of rubber and the back is also molded, so a super solid shoe really enjoyed trying it out

They want more feedback, more sensitivity, but you're, not gon na be able to pull quite as hard. So if it's a really epic really hard heel hook, this is going to be a little bit softer and in order to get this to not deform, you're gon na have to size it really aggressively so that your heel is locked in there. That doesn't slip out a lot of people when they heel hook, they kind of push their toe forward and that can cause the heel to lift out of that pocket. A little bit so really aggressive, high-performance fit is pretty crucial with a softer heel

the current Solution

one of the biggest gripes we get from
some customers who don't fit the

current molded heel cup of the La
Sportiva Solution is it just doesn't work

for them and if your foot
doesn't fit perfectly into that pocket

then you're gonna have some issues with
heel hooking so this heel is a lot

softer and it's gonna be a lot more
sensitive and I think this is going to

fit all the customers who don't
currently fit into solutions so a lot

softer a lot more sensitivity it's gonna
work better on micro holds where you

basically have a ticking time-bomb
and you only have a few seconds before

your foots gonna pop so this heel
is gonna accommodate that a little bit

better and give you that sensitivity and
feedback and since the heel is softer

and it has a whole new shape that
changes the structure of the whole shoe

and it's gonna make it fit and feel like
a totally different shoe so it's gonna

on small micro holds on steep terrain a
lot better so you need less pressure to

get the rubber to deform and do what you
needed to do to hold this is also going

to be XS Grip 2 so the Solution Comp
employs the same P3 system that the

current iteration has so what the P3
system is is it's this tensioned rand that

wraps all the way around the shoe you
can see that it pulls back behind the

heel so the more pressure that you put
on the front of the shoe which is where

the P3 is connected on the front of the
shoe you can't see it because the sole's
