The Everest 1045K Basic is about as simple as a pack can be. With only one large compartment and a small front utility pouch, this bag doesn't have a lot going on. We were surprised by how well this pack could shoulder heavier weight with no back padding and narrow shoulder straps. That being said, we wouldn't want to carry heavy loads for extended periods.
When it comes down to it, this is a small bag with minimal padding. If that's what you are looking for, this bag is great, especially for the price. If you want something that can hold every last thing you may or may not need, this bag might be underwhelming. It's ideal for a first school budget backpack for young children and would also serve adults in carrying their essentials for a trip to the coffee shop.

 Depending on what you need, you have the net there for it and it's handy when you want to have your helmet carried on your pack. Overall the straps are pretty nice. The zippers are really nice as well. They have these visibility orange here that's a has these extra holes in in there the extra gaps

 Starting in the back, let's look at the suspension of the frame. It actually features a light wire suspension alloy frame. It's designed to provide stability for your load and it's also threaded into this high density polyethylene frame sheet and an Hdpe stay to really help transfer the weight more to your hips and provide a more comfortable load. Overall, the pack material in here in the back actually sheds snow and ice very nicely as well

 Today we're looking at the Osprey Solden 32. This is a backpack that is geared towards winter activities such as skiing and snowboarding. This is a backpack that is lighter than the older brother of the Camber Osprey series, and this is a lightweight version of that. It's more minimalistic, but it still has a lot of bells and whistles such as ski carry, snowboard carry, side carry, and a lot of other compartments such as avalanche gear pockets and a breakaway back in the in the back for easy access to your contents

Perfect for back country day treks!

 I asked the young woman running the store what she would recommend as the best laptop backpack she had in the store. She spent so much time enthusing over an Osprey bag that I ended up buying it, though I didn't like its looks and didn't believe it would hold up well. That bag is still going strong today after years of daily use. One of the shoulder straps ripped and Osprey fixed it under warranty

 Now for some particulars...  1) The backpack's main compartment is reached from the back, not the front
