Six Month Update*** This back pack has literally gone around the world a few times, and knowing what I know now, I'd make a different purchase. ..

Great Bag, with decent-not-great quality

 This backpack is not something I would take to a nightclub (obviously), but anything work or travel-related for me and this is THE bag. I don't find it to be overkill going in to work either - I like having plenty of space to put my lunch, a notebook, reading book, purse, extra sweater, etc.  Other things that I love about Everki Atlas: ~ The sunglasses pocket at the top - so glad that it exists and also glad that it's a soft shell so it doesn't take up extra space if not being used. ~ The open pocket in the front - very handy when I just need to shove something in there quickly ~ This is so comfortable! It doesn't hurt my shoulders - I absolutely love how thick and padded the shoulder-straps are

 What does the perfect bag for everything look like? Everki Atlas. Wow.  Priority #1 - NEVER EVER BE FORCED TO CHECK MY BAG AT THE AIRPORT My number-one concern was that I wanted to find a backpack that I would NEVER have to check at the airport. I like to travel very light (one bag only!), and loathe ever having to check a bag (for example, on a crowded holiday flight I had to check my previous backpack even though it would fit in the overhead compartment space easily the plane was too full by the time it was my time to board)

 You want to get quick set, quick access to the front. Here we have another pouch. I just put my PlayStation 4 controller in there, and then I had some cables down there as well just for transporting the PlayStation. So that's basically what I put into this bag, as you can see, there's also a handle on the top of the case

 It is designed to hold a firearm, ammunition, and whatever else one might carry to a firing range. The compartment that hold the firearm and the ammo, have zippers with mating eyelets large enough to accommodate a lock with a 1/4" shackle. No typo, one quarter-inch. And it makes sense

I just received this backpack and using it on my first trip. First off, I'm a frequent traveler for work -- about 80,000 miles a year domestically. I mention this as a good versatile business case/pack is important to me and I've had many. So with this my biggest gripe (not the fault of the case, but really my own for not doing enough research) is that the pack is BIG

  Update 9/11/2019: This bag is still the beast it was when I bought it. Under inspection, I see a very minor stretch under the left strap. This is because I use this strap every single time i grab the bag, which is every single work day into the office or job site depending, and back. Absolutely the best bag i have ever owned

 I can still open up every single zipper in this thing and the bag stands up. Obviously if you have a weight shift ratio to one side, i am sure you can get it to fall.  Straps are in excellent condition for the use of the bag. I might buy stock in Everki as quality matters that much to me

 This is preference but for someone who traveled the airways for 17 years every week, that just makes sense.  I am not taking a star away for anything I didn't care for because of the shear fact of how much better this bag is constructed than any bag I have had and ALL bags have had something that either didn't make sense or was not perfect. Yes, it costs more money. If you would rather have quality than quantity, I believe this is the bag

I travel extensively for business and have learned cheap luggage doesn’t last. The quality of the product is superior. Styling attractive and space functional. Love the colored inside of pockets

 The straps always seem to be in the way and can’t shorten enough to keep from snagging every arm going down isle of plane. I thought I had measured and calculated size better. Extra thick padding for laptop protection contributes to bulk.

Size matters

 I changed out the strap fasteners with sea and summit after market fasteners to have a quick disconnect with the shoulder straps. I use 2 iPads so there is definitely room for that. The extra pocket in front is the best idea. Works great we on the go

I think I tried every bag out there. Everki (15.6 size) was the best for me. I needed a bag that held enough and would fit under airline seats
