It is the right size for us as we're just two people.  It does lack some of the options of a larger Air Fryer models, but it gets the job done.

 I was very pleased, overall, with the simplicity of set-up for this appliance, and I really love that this product takes up minimal counterspace. The Emerald Air Fryer is aesthetically pleasing, as it features a black shell, and a sleek digital LED touchscreen that displays temperature and timer during cooking.  I love that the the area above the digital interface displays icons of meat-types with quick-guide recommended cooking temperatures and times for convenience. The appliance is plug-and-go once initially washed, and use is simple and intuitive

  The double doors are single pane which is a big disappointment. Single pane doors do not hold in the heat as well as double pane glass doors.  Air fryer? more like toaster oven. Yes it "air fries" but not well

  Chocolate chip cookies - As suggested, I flipped the Baking Tray over and placed cookie dough on the bottom - now the top - of the Baking Tray and baked them at the usual 375 degrees. They turned out nicely, but I wasn't able to bake many of them at a time, just a couple, and my guys tell me that they prefer cookies baked in my convection oven.  Overall, I like the Kalorik MAXX Plus AFO 47271 SS Digital Air Fryer Oven 26 Quart 10-in-1 Countertop Toaster Oven Air Fryer Combo and all its many cooking options. However, the glass doors close too easily, even slamming shut with the slightest touch, and this safety issue needs to be addressed!  So far, I haven't experienced any issues with the Kalorik Maxx shutting off or failing to function, as others have stated, but I freely admit that I've only used it 6 times so time will tell! If I experience any issues, I will promptly update my review! And since we are still getting acquainted, if my opinion changes for any reason once I feel up to experimenting more, I'll update my review as warranted

 It is easy to change both the time and the temperature.  Bacon - I used the Baking Tray with the Bacon Tray on top of it. The instructions are unclear! The picture diagram shows placing the bacon pan and tray on the 3rd (from the bottom) rack, but the written text states the 4th (or top) rack. Whichever rack you select, make sure you check the bacon as it cooks and make sure you flip it midway through! Times will vary depending on the cut of your bacon and it's very easy to overcook it because it cooks quickly! Again, it is easy to change the time and temperature from the preset ones

 You will find that information in the included paperwork and instructions.  So far, I have used this oven to air fry fries, cook bacon, prepare jalapeno poppers, roast and air fry veggies, and bake cookies. The oven is easy to clean after each use.  Here are my findings:  Fries - I used the Air Frying Basket

 It took just as long in the Kalorik MAXX oven to cook them as my conventional oven but they did turn out just as beautifully and tasty!  Note: The Baking Tray, Steak Tray, and Bacon Tray are non-stick, but as expected, cleanup isn't all that easy when things like jalapeno poppers are prepared. It takes both soaking and scrubbing with baking soda in order to clean it up!  Veggies - I have air fried vegetables in the Air Frying Basket as well as roasted them in the Baking Tray (so I could freely add such things as olive oil, ghee or butter, crushed garlic and parmesan) and both were delicious! Once again, I kept an eye on them throughout the cooking process and stirred them half way through.  In the end, the chicken cooked up well with the preset program (although I did pop a breaker a few minutes from the end - this fryer pulls a lot of power and needs a dedicated circuit!). It made a splattered greasy mess of the inside of the fryer, but it cleaned up pretty easily on the sides and doors. There's not much you can do for the exposed heating element on top though. The rotisserie forks are about the weakest spot in the whole works, they are pretty flimsy and washing them in the dishwasher makes them rust

 The good news is you can purchase this accessory on Amazon off label. The actual cooking times were improved across-the-board, which surprised me because the glass on the door is on the thin side so I would’ve expected just the opposite. The only thing I didn’t like about this unit that I found in others is a nonstick coating on the inside oven for cleaning. I wish one of these companies would come up with a self cleaning option, because that’s probably my biggest bone of contention

Nicest air fryer I’ve tested this year!

 The only aspect that could be seen as a negative for some is the size, its huge and takes up a lot of counter space and its to large to move and store easily. However if you have the space or you need the extra cooking space for a larger family it's worth the counter space.

  TOAST While this will fit 6 slices of my wider Orowheat bread, it toasts darker on the bottom than it does the top, and the top is what you can see and monitor while it's toasting, so heads up! The preset time for toast is set at 5 minutes and you can adjust the time/darkness level with the multi dial as described above.  BAKING- This heats up fast no preheat needed, but you will have to turn the tray 1/2 way though whatever your baking. The insulated rear of the oven maintains the proper temps, while the non insulated doors will not, so un even baking will occur if you don't turn your rack or pan. This is similar with every small oven I've had with glass doors

 Sometimes the knob doesn't turn correctly, and you have to pay attention to what you've selected. In addition, those doors get HOT, so be careful. But, overall.

  Overall Impression: The Kalorik MAXX air fryer is a great appliance for any family looking to do some healthy cooking.

 The Kalorik air fryer replaced that one and it was a good choice.  First, the air fryer is BIG. It boasts 26qts and will take up a lot of space in your pantry, but well worth losing space. The air fryer does so much that this review won't do it justice
