Frying Basket

I do not know what grade to post I have ...

I do not know what grade to post I have only used this Fryer once doing small potatoes The coating on the basket came off and stuck to the food. It is a thin plastic-like coating which peels off! I dared not eat the potatoes! Now after having washed the basket and letting it air dry it has rust on it. I am very sorry since I have not even had a chance to test this fryer Has anybody else had the same experience with this fryer? I have to return it. On the photos you may see the very thin plastic coating which came off while cooking

Wha!!! The!! Heck!!!!

Place it back again still says “open” clearly this machine is defective or just a POS! Call up Amazon and bam a new next day and when a label to return the old one. Thank you for that! Well on to the new one exactly like my previous one. Well can you guess what happened?!??!!!! The same damn thing!!!! What the Heck!!!! I mean come on who makes this up and makes this crap. Two machine doing the same thing a simple fix?! Well I think not

Cooking Time

Air fryers

This air fryer gets three stars because I have to cook foods twice as long as instructed and they have small cooking area. You must cook in batches and this is one of the bigger models, so not a good choice if cooking for large families. I do like that I can sprinkle with a bit of olive oil rather than deep fry foods and I like the end results when I have used it but watch the surrounding areas getting too hot.

Great for individuals, couples, or small families

Generally: Lower temperature by 25°F and set cooking time to 80% of the middle of the recommended cooking time for conventional oven instructions when cooking using air fryer mode. This usually gets you in the ballpark, but with a minute or two to go, you might have to stop it or add time. I've been using that method from the beginning, and it has served me well.
