Too big to have on my counter from day to day. It looks exactly like the hair blow dryers we used in the 50's and 60's. In fact, I would not be surprised if the design was taken from one.

More like a cornish hens in reality. You might be able to fit chicken parts on the screwer, but nothing over a few pounds. So, in conclusion, don't expect to fit large food items in this oven. Another annoyance is the poor instructions

While the machine is better than just frying in oil or the oven, I have to use a higher temp along with usually 4-8 minutes longer depending on what is in and how thick. Cleanup isn’t that easy for the 2 I received (one was replaced under warranty as it had even worse problems with heating). Eventually I can get it clean but I spend over 15 minutes sometimes depending on what I cook. The “non-stick” coating scrapes off around the bottom of the basket and the top edges of the lower chamber

1. The temperature controls are inflexible I'm the sense that they increment at 25°, and the highest temp is 400°F, therefore if a recipe calls for 380°F, you have to select 375, and probably increase cook times. (Disclaimer: do not quote me on this, because I am not a chef, l was just looking for a product to make frying easier and quicker).

The fryer basket sits in a removable basket and both are easy to clean. The mozz sticks oozed a little on to the baskets and after it cooled to the touch just simply wiped it clean with a damp paper towel.

Another disappointment with the basket is that it really only works with French fries. Every other thing I tried in there created a huge mess, the breading gets all over the place, got stuck into every part of the mesh and took forever to clean. Yeah, it’s dishwasher safe but you first have to try to pick out or brush out all of the greasy particles, the opening in the basket is pretty small. Just not worth the time or trouble

You can get a lot of cooking ideas from FB groups once you figure out the correct times. There is a slight learning curve to that part but once you get it food comes out terrific. We did have a problem with the inner pan scratching but we called up the company and they sent a new pan right away. Other than that this airfryer is awesome

That is something I had previously found my own self a bit irritated with when I consider a certain pressure cooker type device that claims to cook in an instant. There's always the unspoken heating time that you have to ignore if you want to look at total cooking time. This device doesn't need that much heating time, but it does take a moment to come to temp and then start the actual cooking (and normally you don't preheat with devices like this, as you just set the options and let it begin cooking). The convection cooking effect that is used to circulate the heat within this device does help speed up cooking though it also means you have to adjust your cooking times somewhat, in order to avoid overcooking the foods you are trying to cook

Love the air fryer - okay if it was oil based it would be better tasting, but for health reasons I went with the Elite Platinum Air fryer and am very happy. Shrimp, wings, sweet potato fries, regular fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks are the items that I've made so far. All came out very good and used a teaspoon or two of oil only (for fries at least) to get things crispy. Easy to use, easy to clean, and quick to cook, were the main reasons that this outperforms the oven

Not only that it’s way healthier. I wouldn’t have thought the food would taste like it’s actually fried without being soaked in oil. We don’t fry food often but that was mostly due to health concerns. With this air fryer, we are able to make wings without as much of the guilt
