 Perfect for RV's. Now it does have heft to it, but maybe that's why it still is working! This review was long overdue, but it's valid, tested, and true. When R2D2 finally dies, I'll buy another Ninja. They have other versions of the product, but we'll see if I just buy this one again

 Learn from me. R2D2 had a mishap with a Hamilton Beach grill and the side melted where I can see the metal and I still haven't chucked it. It does flash the POT warning every once in a while, which means it cannot sense that there is a pot inside. It acts like it can't detect the pot, but I just move the pot around and the error resolves

 This goes right down and now I can start to add the chicken. I did coat the bottom of this basket with olive oil. Just to help it not stick as bad there's one thing that I did learn when I use the rack without boiling it first, it did cause the chicken to stick a little bit, so we might still get some stickiness, but it won't be nearly as bad all Right so we got all those in there now we can begin to cook it alright. So here's the pressure, cooking, lid and you see that it has this little tab right here that goes from vent and then on this side it says seal

 I just want to show you what it looks like so far, so we're gon na close this lid down and now I'm going to hit the air crisp button. I'M gon na put the temperature all right, keep it at 400, but just to show you that's the max that it will go 400 and then the lowest that it will go for the air crisping function, it's 300, so we're gon na put it at 400 and We'Re gon na do this, I'm gon na say around 10-ish minutes. I might come back and flip it, so we can get the other side, but that should be good and now press Start and what's happening here is that there is a heating element inside of the lid and there's also a fan. So that fan is going to be spinning all of that nice hot air all around the chicken to get it nice and crisp

 And when that happens, you can see that the ninja foodie starts to count up to let you know how long it's been finished with this cycle and it automatically goes into a keep warm cycle. So we're gon na take a look at this chicken, but first we need to release the pressure. So I'm going to flip this little switch here to the vinton position and let's watch all the steam all right. It'S done now releasing the steam dead tank, maybe around a minute or two probably closer to two minutes - to release all of that steam

 That'S included in the recipe book that ninja gives you with this. So in this video I'm going to show you everything that you get in the box with the ninja food II, then we're gon na take it over and we're gon na make some chicken wings from frozen, and the reason why I want to do that is because It'Ll be able to show you the pressure cooking function as well as the air frying function or as ninja calls it. Learning Curve

 The size of this as a slow cooker is my "ideal." Noise: about the same as our microwave. Pressure cooking is kinda loud, but I'm new to pressure cooking. Smell (reported in other reviews): only with the initial use for us (or was it because I made brussel sprouts and haven't done that in years?)

 For everything else, the house smells of the wonderfulness of our creation. Cleaning: super easy! (& I hate cleaning, so this is HUGE!) Sneak-a-peek function is awesome to check and flip/shake basket. Be careful: the basket/pot is extremely hot! The unit is fairly large in size, and it's heavy! It has a designated place in our kitchen. My initial intention was to get an air fryer

 For pork/fish: Pat dry before cooking  Husband's wondering if I'm going to ask for another one to be making ribs/burgers/steaks in 1, and french fries/roasted vegetables in the other. Ninja Foodi is rocking our world!!! Mother's day gift 2019. As of this review, We've made: roasted brussel sprouts, potato chips (1x me only; 2nd time my 14 yr old son made them), a whole roasted chicken, ahi tuna from frozen, french fries (1x me supervising/teaching my 12 yr old son - but I was "hand-off", and 2nd time he did it independently!), chicken soup, and a rack of baby back ribs! EVERYTHING has been spectacular! Yes, there IS a learning curve! I haven't followed the given cheat sheet to the letter, and I've researched recipes (Google/YouTube - be sure your search includes "Ninja Foodi," or make adjustments/be vigilant if the instructions are using a different cooker). Re: negative reviews about poor results: IMO it's lack of research or checking on it as you go. Regarding french fries: all perfect batches included 3 sneek peaks/stirrings (hint!) With only 1 stir, they came out like the potato "stix" you get in a can, lol (still yummy!)

 you need to coordinate the amount of food with the correct time and temperature. use only silicone, bamboo, wood utensils. that way you will have your pan as new for a long time.
