 I also have the Smith Squad Mags which I like. The big thing for both brands are they have their anti fog physically part of the lens and cannot be wiped away.

I tried the Giro Blok for first hand experience and I was very happy with them. Only one lens but a good price and has one of the largest fields of view in their lineup. I was looking into buying new pairs of goggles for the upcoming season since my old ones are scratched up. I found the Oakley Flight Deck XMs on 50% sale ($150) and got really interested in them. I also looked into the Smith I/O chromapop lenses, but they are a lot more expensive ($300). Which one do you guys recommend more? Since I am a student, I cannot afford to get new lenses every so often, so I need them to be durable. Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this question btw.

Yeah, whether you're rolling it over or under your helmet, you know, beanie ties in it, this has just the right shape and flair. It actually has some deformation to it, so when you crash, not a matter if you crash, because you're going to stack me at some point, hopefully, by pushing it, this thing's got the right frame and shape and fit

 Joined today by John from Giro. John, thanks for joining us.

 So today we're talking about a really, really cool goggle from Giro, the Block.

 One of my favorite goggles and it doesn't come in at this premium price point or anything like that.

 It comes in at a very moderate price point, but just such a really cool, almost a throwback type of goggle.

 The team at Giro was like, we've got to have something for the athletes.

 This is totally team inspired, just the classic blocky lines.

 Everything about this throws retro out there.

 Yeah, and it's a big field of view for, again, a moderate price point.

 You know, it's spread from the Superfit engineered platform so we know it fits. It's got all the right contours and shapes.

 But the big thing here that we're talking about is EXV.

 And EXV is that expansion view technology that you've seen now for the last couple of years from Giro.

 They just give the biggest field of view you can imagine, but where you need it.

 There's bigger lenses out there. We know that for sure.

 But quite often that big field of view is up top unless you're looking for where the pine boughs are dropping.

 So it's the right field of view where you need it, and that's what EXV, that expansion view technology is about.

 Going, kind of switching back and forth, I have this and I use the Onset as well.

 And as a snowboarder, the blind spots are cut down so much with the EXV lenses.

 Yeah, and toe side, you guys can see it all. Heel side, you're half blind already.
