The fit is fantastic above the knees, very comfortable with a low rise. The knees feel like they hit a little low, but after watching some other reviews, I think they’re where they’re supposed to be, it’s just a completely different cut than I’m used to. I do wish they came in 28 & 29 waist size because after a day of hiking the waist stretches out making a 30 more like a 31. Another option would to add a draw string like on surf trunks. It would be better to ditch the velcro on the rear pockets and just add a zipper to one of them to secure a wallet. As it is now it is tough to fit a regular size wallet with the velcro closed

So if you're interested, the leash (shown in the attached pics), is considered the "small" (50mm) size. In the description, you'll see that these are considered "Small" which is not indicative of the leash length, but rather, the size of the apperature within the rubber fasteners located at either end. I found the color on line to look more of a pine green but the color in person is more of a light sage color. So I was a bit disappointed and hence my 4 star rating. But the quality of construction looks pretty solid to me.

The rear zipper would take away from the look and feel of the shorts. Use the rear pockets for simple items that are not valuable. They've also worked for swimming in a pinch - light enough and dry quickly.

Did this through a shop and the first pair wasn't right but Oakley will take it back and try again (once). The second pair is spot on. It's not cheap, but the style works for riding. I use some anti-fog coatings and their MTB specific lens

These are great shorts, close athletic fit, but not too tight. PROS- They stretch so they are SUPER COMFY CONS - PRICEY- but have bought many of these while on sale - The threading starts to wear out quick. Threads have come apart for me . - Logo also starts to rub off after about 5 washes

0 sunglasses. They’re just so damn comfortable and the trail prism lenses are perfect, not too dark, block enough sun glare, and great contrast (from eye sight and perceiving colors).

I couldn't beat the price either as the sprig color was on clearance. I will be getting more of these.
