The fit is fantastic above the knees, very comfortable with a low rise. The knees feel like they hit a little low, but after watching some other reviews, I think they’re where they’re supposed to be, it’s just a completely different cut than I’m used to. I didn’t have any problems with articulation while moving, they just looked a little odd to my eyes. Fjällräven offers tailoring in-store, so I’ll probably bring them in at some point just to confirm

Alas, I had the same problem several others had with the shoulders & armpits being too tight. With liner removed it was marginally acceptable, but one shouldn't pay full price for something in that category. The coat styling also needs more work, especially a belt for more visual interest & shape. The straw that broke me was my husband's concise response when I modeled it for him: "Eh, you could do better

The rear zipper would take away from the look and feel of the shorts. Use the rear pockets for simple items that are not valuable. They've also worked for swimming in a pinch - light enough and dry quickly.

I ordered a large & fit great if only wearing a shirt!! Once I put a sweater on, coat became too tight. Loved it so much, I ordered a xl, but coat now far to large, very unflattering!! Need an inbetw size!! The large also very tight around my shoulders & the xl shoulders hung down.

I do wish they came in 28 & 29 waist size because after a day of hiking the waist stretches out making a 30 more like a 31. Another option would to add a draw string like on surf trunks. It would be better to ditch the velcro on the rear pockets and just add a zipper to one of them to secure a wallet. As it is now it is tough to fit a regular size wallet with the velcro closed

I am 5'0" and I ordered a petite size XS. I can wear a lightweight base layer jacket underneath and I stay so warm! With just the coat on the wind is blocked out and I am so comfortable. The coat is flattering. I would only make the sleeves a little more fitted to block out any tiny bit of cold air

These are great shorts, close athletic fit, but not too tight. PROS- They stretch so they are SUPER COMFY CONS - PRICEY- but have bought many of these while on sale - The threading starts to wear out quick. Threads have come apart for me . - Logo also starts to rub off after about 5 washes

Got the heather gray color, loved it accept for the slight herringbone stripe pattern that exists in the fabric. I wish it would be "true" heather color without those tonal stripes! May exchange it because of that, bummer.

This is too bad because in every other respect these are great pants. Very comfortable with a flexible durable fabric. Just poor stitching that takes away from an otherwise nice product.

I was disappointed in the limited colour selection, especially compared with other coats EB sells. I ordered the grey one, and from the pictures expected more of a silver, but the coat is a darker slightly drab grey (like the sky on dark rainy day) . Other than that, I am happy with my purchase. Yes, the coat rustles a bit when you move, but I'm willing to put up with that to stay dry

I found the color on line to look more of a pine green but the color in person is more of a light sage color. So I was a bit disappointed and hence my 4 star rating. But the quality of construction looks pretty solid to me.
