If you want a bagless vacuum, I think my Dyson V10 has better performance and is even cordless, you just lose the flexibility of a canister vacuum. I hope Miele does better in the future!

If you are very savvy, I highly recommend this unit. It has excellent suction, decent edge cleaning, fantastic navigation, and the camera allows it to avoid obvious unexpected obstacles most of the time. There are some situations where couch curtains may confuse it, but they do seem to be frequently pushing out firmware updates to improve performance. I have no reason to believe this will stop any time soon since all their future vacs will have these features

This vacuum has a very powerful suction and does an amazing job of removing pet hair from my carpet and rugs. It is lightweight and easy to pull around the house. I am able to vacuum a large area before needing to dump it, also. The only issue I have had with it is that I cannot push it forward on the carpet

That was with preparation! I wanted this to be easy and it became quite apparent this would not be. If you had no kids, no animals, and we're a clean person, this would be incredible! If you have to pick up and organize before you robo vacuum, then I'm not sure it's really a timesaver. So, I'd rather do it myself and leave the frustration behind.

I had never heard of the Miele brand prior to getting this Miele Boost CX1 - Bagless canister vacuum cleaner, so I wasn’t sure what they were all about. But if this is any judge of there quality than I’m hooked! Let me just say that this isn’t going to replace your vacuum cleaner, or even your stick vacuum. This is more like a hybrid between a shop vac, vacuum cleaner, and a stick vacuum. It makes cleaning things above floor level a breeze! It does a good job on the floor too, but I think it really excels at those things above floor level

Miele's bagless machines really aren't their strong-suit, to the point that a lot of folks would call them 20 years behind the rest of the market. Biggest flaw to the Blizzard CX1 models is their inaccessible exhaust filters that'll clog up over the vacuum's life. With this maintenance-unfriendly design, I can't really consider this a buy-it-for-life machine.
