I reach out to their support and again: inadequate voltage. Seriously? You’re telling me that the only electronic item in my house that seems to have trouble with my electricity (I’m in the US) is this Dyson fan? That will be true when pigs start flying. 

**Absolutely can’t recommend**. This is my second one in three years, the first stopped heating and gave an H2 error code. Dyson support gave an utterly ridiculous explanation saying “it wasn’t receiving proper voltage”.

Meaning, this seems to be a dust issue and they don’t want to admit the design is inadequate. The lack of a cleanable filter inside means it is prone to dust build up, and no matter how much you clean it without disassembling it I’d have to imagine that after 10 years compressed air won’t do the trick anymore. There are instructions online for disassembling the fan to clean it more thoroughly, but it seems like if you want it to last you have to compensate for their bad design.

DYSON AM09 Hot &amp; Cool Fan Heater

 We became interested in getting an air purifier + heater for another room and purchased a Dyson HP09 at Best Buy - the clicking noise it made woke us up at night - product returned. We then decided to try the older version Dyson HP04 (available direct from Dyson) - went through 3 of them - all returned. We love Dyson products, but it seems the newer/recent Dyson products are not for us. We did attempt to purchase another Dyson HP09, but ended up canceling as we lost faith in Dyson after going through several returns

A potential workaround would be to automate the AM09 with something like a WeMo Switch and IFTTT, but you won't be able to do that either. An automated switch could turn the AM09 off, but it wouldn't be able to turn it back on since there's no physical dial on the thing, and it doesn't turn on automatically as soon as you plug it in.One last point -- the AM09 makes a fair amount of noise. It's not unreasonably loud for a space heater, and runs downright quiet at low settings

 Cooling the room down to about 63 degrees Fahrenheit for each run, we set the heaters to max one at a time and monitored how quickly they raised the temperature.The results lined up with what I'd experienced the night before. The AM09 raised the temperature to 70 degrees in about 10 minutes -- the Lasko heater needed 30 minutes. The AM09 hit 75 degrees after 45 minutes, while the Lasko heater needed an extra hour

Imagine the same device with the same performance and the same features -- but a boring, ordinary design. Not an ugly design. Just not a Dyson. In fact, go ahead and take the name Dyson off of the thing and replace it with something bland and generic

 You've got a button to put it into sleep mode to turn off. After a certain amount of time, the fan does oscillate going left and right so you can turn it on and off with this button. and then these two buttons on the bottom are going to control how it does the airflow. so you've got your direct jet focus

 It's a nice conversation piece. I would consider it the iPhone of fans or the Apple product of fans out there. Dyson makes vacuums and has had a very good reputation for having kind of these products that are very modern looking and kind of thinking outside the box and I think it's kind of the same thinking with this fan. In addition to that, some of the neat things about it are going to be the design, the fact that you can put your hand through it, it doesn't have any like moving pieces

 So first we'll power it on. It has 10 different air speeds right now it's set to one down here at the base so we'll go through the 10. So I'm cranked all the way up to ten right now. It is definitely making some noise, but it is

 On the back of the remote here there's a screw open slide out tray that has the battery in it. Let's go through the buttons real quick. So these different buttons are gonna operate the fan and the uppermost left. here you're gonna have your power button

 it does oscillate and you can stop this with the remote at any point so you could point it away from you if you want to. It has a sleep timer for from 15 minutes up to nine hours and it'll turn off. Like I said, you can change the air flow from a focus beam to a wide beam and it also has a heater. So if I put this thing in heater mode, you'll notice that has a specific temperature and what it does is it hits at five degrees above your room temperature and so you can set this and it'll act

 It's really very very cool. This is a four hundred and fifty dollar fan, so obviously this isn't hitting everybody's price points. but I can say that it works. Fantastic

 But with the noise, it's no better than any other fan or heater, just minus the blades. Not worth the money and I certainly would never recommend this.

 I want a fan that will cool me down quickly and move a lot of air. But the Dyson is in my opinion one if not the best looking fans on the market today. With no blades exposed it is very safe to have around the house with children. But you lose the ability to talk through the fan and sound funny

 There are other fans on the market that cost a lot less and move a lot more air. I don’t find myself needing to just circulate air. I want a fan that will cool me down quickly and move a lot of air. But the Dyson is in my opinion one if not the best looking fans on the market today

 Today we're taking a look at the Mosso Natural Air Purifying Bag. Now I've had a couple of

 these for a while now. I first started using them when I discovered my daughter's cup of

 milk had become secretly hidden under the passenger seat and my car read the milk. So

 I got this and a couple other things to try. I found this was very effective. Now I got

 the charcoal version of it here. It comes in a few different scents and smells and I

 really am a fan of it. A couple of things right off the bat. It looks nice. This is

 a nice little bag here. They say this is good for two years. I change this out every six

 months or so but that may just be myself. I can't say I've noticed a point of needing

 it to do it at that point. It's just what I've done in the past. You can put a little

 date on here when you open it to keep track of that. Past that it's just great. Now I

 haven't tried but I'm assuming you could kind of peel this off if you wanted. It seems to

 be pretty well stitched on there by a little knife and you can take it off. It does have

 a little hook here if you want to dangle it. I throw this in my car. We also have a cat
