 [Music] Okay guys, so this is the Dollar Music 23 inch mahogany wood comfort ukulele and I swear guys, I'm so in love with this! So what I love about Dollar Ukuleles is that they are not expensive and they feel amazing. They feel so high quality and they look great. Also, the white line makes it look so beautiful and so high quality. So now I'm going to tune ukulele with the tuner that I got with the ukulele and then we're going to hear how ukulele sounds

 Okay, so first we have a little strap that you can put around your ukulele, then we have new strings, then we have four guitar picks, then we have a little cleaning towel, and then we have a tuner. So I never received the ukulele which includes all of this, so this is really cool. Okay, so now let's move on to the ukulele. Okay, first impression, it's so beautiful

  Third Update: I liked the Martin strings, but I became frustrated by flaws in the intonation. Switched the strings again, and this time it's the fantastic. Fremont BlackLine Mediums are thin black fluorocarbon strings. They give it amazing clarity, volume, resonance and sustain, and the intonation is near perfect all the way up the neck

 The Donner logo is inlaid into the headstock. The tuning gears work smoothly and hold their position, with pegs similar in color to the mahogany. The nut is a full 1.5" wide, which makes it easier for people with larger-sized fingers to play

  Second Update: Today after a couple of months with the Aquila Sugar strings, I replaced them with Martin M600 flurocarbon strings, and I really like them. There was something about the sugars that sounded just a little odd, a little artificial. The Martins have a clear bell-like tone that is equally loud as the sugars but sounds more natural. Of course, string choice is a matter of personal preference, but I'm really happy with the Martins

 The frets are level and beveled on the sides for comfort, and the fret ends are covered. I haven't had any problems with strings buzzing. There are side position markers in addition to those on the fretboard. The saddle is compensated for consistent intonation

 Awesome! So let's go ahead and hear how this suit sounds with some finger picking and some strumming patterns. [Music] Nice! Overall, I think this is a great Uke. I feel like if you are a beginner Uke or if you're looking for an affordable, high quality concert size Uke, that this Donner Ukulele concert size Uke is definitely for you. And again, it does come with extra stuff with the Uke accessories of the tuner picks, cleaning cloth, extra string strap, and all that

I've reviewed some Ukes in the past that were like four or five times six times the price of this Uke. and it didn't come with a gig bag

 I think the accessories alone with the Gig bag and all the other yuke accessories, I think the suk is definitely a winner For the price point, this is an awesome Uke.  I've reviewed a lot of Ukes under seventy dollars and this one is definitely one of my top favorites just because of just some of the features that come on this Uke. And also the sound of this Uke is super bright and fun and it also tunes really well. Some of the Ukes that I've played in the past you it just took a lot to tune and stay in tune. This one stayed pretty much in tune within the first 30 minutes of actually tuning and playing, so it doesn't take a lot of work to keep it in tune

I shouldn't call it a toy, but it's another keyboard and there's lots of good ones coming out at the moment - and this is no exception. This is the new Korg d1. It'S a really compact, portable digital piano could probably call it us it's

 Another keyboard, if you want to plug it in your computer, of course, you can buy a pretty inexpensive, USB MIDI interface to connect, and you know Bob's your uncle. You can do whatever you need to do with your computer, but we've got onboard 30 arm. High quality sounds, and we've got a nice pallet of sounds to choose from we've got six different acoustic pianos. That was number one we'll go through just go through and show you a couple of the other sounds

 It actually seeks as well [ Music ]. So that's three in the first setting there's the UPA piano, so three different versions in there as well: [ Music ]. So you know they're really good, and I mean in in this type of piano again it's portable great action, there's thirty sound! So there's not a truckload of sounds, but there's enough to you know to do a simple gig with and, of course, with the proper MIDI connections you can just directly plug in external additional equipment, other keyboards another keyboard. On top you know the sky's the limit

 Considering you've got the absolute top class action in this piano, so what have we got? Well, we've got a portable piano. As we've discussed, we've got traditional stereo left and right outputs. So if you're doing a gig, obviously you're getting the correct sound out of it sustain pedal. Of course you don't have USB MIDI and shock horror, no, no shock, horror

Korg D1 Digital Piano | Better Music

Difficult review, this, because it's in two parts.  The piano is fine. Decent action, Korg's best, there are better, but they come at a price - if you have the money, consider the Roland FP-90, that's lovely. But, excellent piano for the money, and a great idea - strip back to the essentials, and make those essentials as good as they can be

 Also no manual, which suggests to me it was a return in the first place.  That was replaced with another, which had also been dropped in transit, though appears to have survived intact.  Review in short: I'd buy the piano, but I'd spend a few more quid and buy it from someone who understands that you can't drop pianos and get away with it.  I would note that Elijah who handled my complaint at Amazon did so in exemplary fashion and is a credit to company
