  I am thinking going with Fins windtamer but I wonder if JX4 would be just as good.  I'll probably go with 20-30 lb braid since these are inshore set ups, I want everything to hold up if someone happens to hook a bull drum or shark and they want to bring it in.  I plan on getting some 4000 reels with medium heavy rods for targeting bull reds and black drum with some heavier braid on my next round of gear buying.

 The best deal for the amount that you're spending um that you could get so i've been fortunate to take it fishing a few times as well, and it's it there's no problems with it whatsoever. It reels extremely smooth. The casting distance is insane. I can just a flick of the wrist and i can launch my bait all the way out there

Fisherman's Review DIAWA BG 2500 -- IS IT A STEAL?

 I did bring one of my big rods just because i want to put more than two baits in the water just to see if it'll bring them in. So i brought my uh it's the pin pursuit two rod um, but i've got on it. My fenor lethal um - this is a great reel. It'S a 4000 series uh! I got this

 The 7th we've been out here, the fifth. The sixth and now the seventh third day same spot same rig. We did decent the first day we only caught one yesterday and it was just windy nasty. Today it's freaking gorgeous uh the wind's blowing out of the south again, so we're back facing this way

 So i'm gon na try these guys. I'M probably gon na try to stop and get one or two more live ones, but i'm just going to let them die because i'm using for cut bait anyway and we're going to see. If today brings us luck, i've got my dahwa bg 2500s. I'Ve got one

 Water 70 degrees steadily warming back up, we've had so much warm weather a couple videos ago. I think the water was 63 degrees, so it's up seven degrees from then all right. This is the bigger one, a much bigger one yeah. This feels like a much bigger one

 it just so happened to be the Corrado DC I've never used the DC reel my life. I've had probably 15 years worth of experience with a baitcaster. I'm not super picky. all my reels have been bought secondhand

 so I just got back from an unchartered up in Cape Cod I was fishing with John B and Senor bass and John B I am an idiot and left all my reels at home. He let me use one of his. it just so happened to be the Corrado DC I've never used the DC reel my life. I've had probably 15 years worth of experience with a baitcaster

Best Baitcasting Reel EVER or Overhyped? Shimano Curado DC Reel Review

Awesome reel. I have it three stars on light weight because that it is not. However I still have three stars because it’s not supposed to be. Now don’t think it’s gonna feel like having a huge rock on your pole but the little extra weight is WELL worth having that breaking system inside

 I'm gonna take this jig, make a cast. Threw that thing on our 25 yards. No issues. Super smooth, really comfortable in the hand

 one is going to be the least amount of resistance, two is gonna be your braid setting. If you're throwing braids or mono, this is the setting you want to be on, Three is gonna be your fluorocarbon setting, and four that is your most breaking system that's going to be skipping. that's going to be casting light baits into the wind, so it's very easy. one through four depending on what your reel is, what your reel is spooled with, and the baits you're throwing

 So I'm going to spool these up I'm gonna show you guys some close-up shots of some of the key features. I'm gonna go make some casts and you guys keep an ear out for that. That notorious that DC Sound Let's go make some casts. Alright guys! I Spool up this first DC This Corrado DC with 65 pound max Quatro Braid I Tied on a frog and paired that up with the X Pride 7/3 extra-heavy This is a fantastic frog rod

 Conditions: skipping light baits, casting live baits in the low end, that's gonna be your setting. So let's start with 4. I'm gonna take this jig, make a cast. Threw that thing on our 25 yards

Shimano Curado 150 DC : An In-Depth Look

 That’s game over with any other baitcaster I’ve owned. The only negative I have is that the Curado DC 150 lettering came off after about 3 uses. Like it was water color paint or something cheap. Nobody’s perfect so I give it a 5 star since I’ve never caught a fish by how cool my reel looked

 However, I easily pulled out the backlash. I also hit some tall weeds accidentally on a cast and was impressed that I was able to easily get that backlash out also. That’s game over with any other baitcaster I’ve owned. The only negative I have is that the Curado DC 150 lettering came off after about 3 uses

I’ve had several low profile baitcasters, but this is my favorite performing yet. Super easy to adjust the spool brake by selecting settings 1 - 4. The spool tensioner is similarly easy to adjust because it doesn’t have to be as exact for each lure like with other baitcasters. I adjusted mine one time and just change the brake settings depending on how heavy/arrow dynamic a lure is

 I threw out a lure and let it hit without thumbing the spool to see the result. Most fisherman would tell You that line is done and you are cutting it off spool because it’s so backlashed if you do this. However, I easily pulled out the backlash. I also hit some tall weeds accidentally on a cast and was impressed that I was able to easily get that backlash out also

Is the curado dc worth it over the slx dc? I've heard the only major difference is the gears and I'm not sure that reeling a bit smoother can justify the price difference. 2. Is there any major reason to pick the dobyns fury over the st Croix bass x or vice versa?

 That when I learned the drag on this reel at 11 pounds suck!!!!. At $249.00 it might make a high priced crappie rig. If Shimano ever makes an upgraded drag too 15 -17 pounds let me know
