 You’re gonna get something super sturdy if you want to pay $120+. My son was 2.5 so I figured he would only rides with me for a year or so before growing out of it. I feel like he’s safe and I make sure to ride a little extra cautiously with him back there

Good enough for the price and a great time for kiddo

 The instructions aren't great, so it took some time to decipher how to assemble everything. Lastly, the safety straps and the feet straps aren't high quality (toddler's feet always pop out of the straps). Because the concept is smart, I'm disappointed the bracket wasn't designed better and cheap materials were used for securing the child in the seat. Despite my criticisms, this child seat works and it's easy to take on and off

Easy system for quickly adding or removing the child seat

 They provide a long bolt and nut to replace the existing seat post bolt and nut. I however wanted to keep the option of adjust the seat post for storage. I opted to use turn the seat post lock 180 degrees. I had to remove 1 washer to make it work, my plan is to buy a slightly longer quick disconnect seat post bolt

 Then slide the spacer in on the backside before tightening everything up.  Before you attempt to install the rack, Identify the screw holes and I recommend checking the bolt fitment in the frame to make sure the threads are right. Once you have done that screw the bolts in with the allen wrench to clear out the powder coating on the frame. This will save a headache when mounting the rack

 You need to remove the hardware and spacer. Insert the handle and place the screw/bolt through. Then slide the spacer in on the backside before tightening everything up.  Before you attempt to install the rack, Identify the screw holes and I recommend checking the bolt fitment in the frame to make sure the threads are right

 I liked the price point and the seat looked like it had lots of room for adjustment.  First of all, the instructions aren't that great. I attempted to reference them for 2 items and they weren't helpful.  Overall Fit was decent

Skepticle but Succesful!

 Once the base is installed, adding and removing the seat is very easy.  I did a test ride with 2 bulk laundry soap bottles (about 35#) with no issues. Recommend adding a mirror to your helmet or bars so you can see the little one behind you. I am also considering aEVO Center Mnt Dual leg Adjustable to balance the bike while I load the passenger

 The strap was adjusted to my child the first use & stays that way, similar to a car seat strap that would need to be adjusted as the child grows, not each time the child is placed in the seat. The strap padding & seat cushion padding that comes with the seat is not all that good, so I use the Velcro ones from my child's car seat to put on these while we ride to cushion the rubbing (if any) that might occur from the seat belt. Worth the money!

 100% satisfied. I will update review after a couple months of daily use. We LOVE IT! Just needs a dash of creative flair to match my bike, so we will be painting it.

 Handle bar is kinda annoying to put on, but works great for me as a handle to stabilize the bike when walking beside it. I have a heavy bike, but this seat is barely noticeable when riding with my one year old. The front strap that is supposed to go around the seat post is cinched onto the first bar of my rack instead, so my carrier is solid as a rock. Easy to use, comfortable, and very safe

 We LOVE IT! Just needs a dash of creative flair to match my bike, so we will be painting it.

The Rack did not fit my 700c even with all the different adjustment possibilities. I couldn't use the rack it came with. I ended up installing the seat on wife's 26in which already had a Toppeak rack installed. To accommodate this, I needed to drill a hole into the rack to add the hand tightening bolt so the seat won't bounce up and down

Yepp Maxi Child Bike Seat Review

 I'm going to do this review for the Yep Maxi seat that is sold by Thule.

 I just did a video for the Mack ride, which you can see there.

 But for our younger son, Ryder, who is almost two, we needed something that he could be

 Having a five-point harness is something that we really wanted.

 And we decided on the Yep Maxi for a couple of reasons.

 Some friends of ours got the Thule ride along, and I can kind of talk about what the differences

 So the Yep Maxi so far, we really like it.

 One thing I really like is that it's just this nice kind of flexy, rubbery kind of material.

 So it's kind of grippy, so our son isn't like sliding around on it.

 If it gets dirty or muddy, you can just hose it off.

 It's very light as well, like the actual seat itself is very light.

 The seat stirrups, these are like a hard plastic kind of material, not like a nice rubber.

 The Mack ride has this nice rubbery material for the strips.

 This is like a hard plastic, so it's a little tricky or it's hard getting it on there.
