I’ve read other reviews that say the same thing. But I stay with the brand because it matches my other countertop appliances. In other words, it looks good but if the longevity if this replacement is the same as the original one, it’ll only last a few years. Disappointing for the cost and brand that this particular small appliance is so flimsy

I had the part replaced under warranty to only discover it is not the part but the design of the on off button. I simply applied a felt pad to the back of the lever. This gives the on off button a thicker and wider surface to contact. Problem solved

The product is aesthetic and we got it since we've been drinking more wine lately. It's not the most intuitive to use but we got the hang of it after a few tries. Overall decent product but I might still stick to the old fashion kind.

In other words, we have to continue to push the lever back with our thumb or it won't work.

I am going to say this about that. This can opener will make your Kitchen Life so much easier! It is small, lightweight, convent to use, works like should-every time, and has made me happy for years! It is above all Dependable! If you have Arthritis or any hand or joint problems with dexterity, run now & order the “One Touch”. Trust me on this.
